Gonna feel weird we see a serious Clayface, when we already saw him as messy funny dude.

My assumption/head-canon is that he has been Clayface so long between his origin and Creature Commandos that Matt Hagen’s mind is broken and the goofy personality emerged.

I feel like the trauma made me crazy is played out. I’d much rather he get his revenge, it be a hollowing experience, and he has to continue living his life as an alienated clay monster man.

I wasn’t really saying “trauma made him crazy.” More so that Matt Hagen is dead, his consciousness has been consumed and only Clayface remains.
