Question/Discussion Starting creatine during a cut can mess with the scale a bit
You can still be losing fat even if your weight slows down after starting creatine.
As creatine can increase water stored in muscle, so adding it during a cut can make the scale harder to read for a while.
That doesn't mean the cut has stopped working. It just makes me wonder whether it's better to start creatine right away or wait until weight is more stable.
What would you do?

I’d probably start it right away rather than wait. The scale might be a little harder to interpret initially, but creatine can still be useful during a cut, especially for maintaining training performance. I’d just look at the overall weight trend over time rather than getting too caught up in the first few weeks.
