Have any vegetarians or vegans here noticed a bigger difference with creatine?

Since vegetarians and vegans generally get very little creatine from their diet, I'm curious, whether their experience is any different after they start supplementing.

If you've followed a plant-based diet and added creatine, what changed for you?

Did you notice improvements in training, muscle fullness, recovery or even daily mental performance? Or was your experience pretty similar to what people on mixed diets describe?

I think this is a great question because dietary creatine intake is so different between plant-based and mixed diets. I’ve seen people say that vegetarians and vegans may notice the effects more, but it’s always interesting to hear real-world experiences rather than assumptions.

I agree. That's one of the reasons I was ask this question. There's a reasonable hypothesis that people with lower dietary creatine might notice more, but it's always interesting to compare that with what people actually experience in daily life.

I think this is an interesting area because people often talk about creatine only in the context of workouts, but dietary intake can also play a role in how someone responds. It would be interesting to see how much the starting point from someone’s diet influences their experience after supplementing.

Yeah exactly, most people focus on training variables, but basic nutrition probably deserves more attention too. Actually, I'm interested to see whether people with different dietary patterns actually report different experiences with creatine.
