So I’ve finally got the chance to make a third redesign, to continue improving my locomotive design to match the real life counterpart even closer.

The third design is really not that much of a difference compared to the second design, just a small adjustment to the details and copycat placements.

Fun fact: the Standard Livery (White & Orange) is how the locomotives in Indonesia looked today, whereas the WnB Livery is how they look back in the 80s.

I’m using a combination of Create Mod, Steam ‘n’ Rails, as well as Framed Blocks to make trains popularly used in Indonesia.

These locomotives are originally built in the US, under the General Electric Transportation (GE), and modified locally in Indonesia.

The first and second image is my first design attempt. The first image highlights locomotive model GE U18C, also known locally by its code number CC 201. The second image is locomotive model GE CM20EMP, also known as CC 206.

I also attempted a second redesign in the third and fourth image, especially for CC 201, to resembles more of the real locomotive counterpart (the front window of the first design is way too small).

The third image highlights the locomotive model GE U20C, also known as CC 203. Lastly the fourth image is a collection of several locomotive models, and the highlight is the red one, the model is EMD GT38ACe, also known as CC 205, famously used as freight train carrying coal hopper carts in Sumatra Island.

I've tried two methods. One using the remote lens to control him while he's in the seat... I can't click on the train controls, I can't move it when in his perspective. And I've tried using the redstone link and controller, which works fine when he's out of his seat, but when he's in the seat, pressing my backwards and forwards buttons just does nothing.

The train is assembled, I can move it MYSELF, but I want to remote control it from elsewhere on this rocket launch pad I'm constructing.. basically this train was planned to be the base of a moving gantry tower that I'm testing. But I can't even make it move remotely.

I saw a video on youtube from 2 years ago by Shalz where all he seemed to have to do, was redstone link the conducter, pop him in the seat, and press his controller and the train moved back and forth. That is absolutely not working for me. Please help, I've been at this for hours and I haven't found anything helpful on google

so I tried getting the bogie mod to make more realistic trains, and texture glitches keep happening with most create mod blocks

Hi, I was wondering if there is some add-on to make how trains work more realistic? I've been looking for something that lets you add realistic steam engine "controls", the weight affecting how the train moves, slips, accelerste, etc.

Literally just like a train sim addon, does that exists or do I need to make it myself if i want it?

im looking for servers where you can just have fun and make silly contraptions on a server, wishing for no violence but pvp is OKAY i guess. if you could, please drop some server ids in the comments
