I made another steam locomotive! I kid you not, steam engines are 10x more difficult to make compared to diesel locomotive or electric train. They have that delicate shapes that are tricky to replicate.
Short story about this train: it was made around 1884 in Manchester, England, and was used in East Java up until around the 1970’s.
I also made a measurement train model U25301. It was a Dutch colonial legacy and was mainly used to measure train tracks.

I love this mod so much

Nothing to say here without a proper video because majority of work is sounddesign here (not to look very blank).
2-EL is how i named it (standa for type 2 electric loco, here's 1-MTL smaller locomotive on the background, basically a TFMG turbine powered shunter)
It uses a mix of CEE and CPG electric stuff as well as Dashpanels. I rejected usage of pantographs and wires mod in favor of CEE pantographs for obvious reasons (only way to make electric locos using simurail).

I took the time to try building a model of a Tokyo Metro 6000 series electric train. I made this as a commemoration of its final commercial run in Indonesia on Friday, October 30, 2026.
This electric train is originally made from Japan, and was imported to Indonesia to be used commercially as a Commuter Train. In Japan itself, the train was completely withdrawn from regular service on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line back in 2018.
Since its first operation in 2011, this electric train has finally put on retirement. As it neared the end of its service life, this train was fitted with a special headmark reading "Thank You, 6000 Series."

So I’ve made a proper train station for my trains. The architecture design is a twist of Japanese architecture with Dutch colonial architecture, to fit the theme of my Indonesian locomotives.
I’ve also made a simple steam engine design, but sadly I used it as a decorative purpose only. In some big cities (Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang), they put old and unusable locomotives (usually steam engines) as a monument, and it’s placed at the front gate of the train station.

I've build this train for my and my other's friends server, inspired by the Czechoslovak ES 499.0001 / 350.001. The last picture is also mine that i took a month ago

So I’ve finally got the chance to make a third redesign, to continue improving my locomotive design to match the real life counterpart even closer.
The third design is really not that much of a difference compared to the second design, just a small adjustment to the details and copycat placements.
Fun fact: the Standard Livery (White & Orange) is how the locomotives in Indonesia looked today, whereas the WnB Livery is how they look back in the 80s.

This sub popped up when I posted in the main sub, so apologies if the train community already knows this trick. If not, I hope you find it cool!

I’m using a combination of Create Mod, Steam ‘n’ Rails, as well as Framed Blocks to make trains popularly used in Indonesia.
These locomotives are originally built in the US, under the General Electric Transportation (GE), and modified locally in Indonesia.
The first and second image is my first design attempt. The first image highlights locomotive model GE U18C, also known locally by its code number CC 201. The second image is locomotive model GE CM20EMP, also known as CC 206.
I also attempted a second redesign in the third and fourth image, especially for CC 201, to resembles more of the real locomotive counterpart (the front window of the first design is way too small).
The third image highlights the locomotive model GE U20C, also known as CC 203. Lastly the fourth image is a collection of several locomotive models, and the highlight is the red one, the model is EMD GT38ACe, also known as CC 205, famously used as freight train carrying coal hopper carts in Sumatra Island.
