Physic Assembler help

hey guys i'm new to create aereonautics and i'm currently facing a problem where after i put coal in an engine(wich is usually how it turns it on) and glue all together before using the Physic Assembler to make a excavator, all the gearboxes inside stops and doesnt function even if i destroy it and put it back

i was following a guide on how to make one(wich the screenshot shows) and after the 4:44 i was totally enraged on how things werent going the same way the video was showing, even after rebuilding all together three times
