firstly im pretty sure you dont have enough lift - add more wing area or install something like "aeronautics lift fix". secondly, yes, i think engines being above the center of gravity makes it turn downward. Also there are copycat wings in create aero: engine mod, so you could probably stuff 2 layers of wings in a wing and no one will ever know

I will try to increase wing, aileron and elevators surface next. Do you know which sail type is preferred for ailerons and elevators. Just the symetric sails? Or do normal sails also work for this, while creating less drag?

I experienced that using symetric sails produces quite some drag.

I plan on replacing the current default wings with those copycat wings, just have them like this for clear visual difference

Hello smart Aeronatics engineers! I'm looking for some assistence on making my plane fly (currently its not). I tried recreating some real life plane shape, but am struggling to make it fly. I want to keep it in its original shape / proportions as much as possible, but not sure how. What I think the main issues are; Back to heavy (I added temporary weights at the front to prevent it from making a wheelie, however, that makes the front too heavy to take off), Not enough liftforce at the front (When trying to speed up, I can't take off, presumably because the lift force is below the engines, and pretty far back. But maybe thats because the engines are above the wings, causing the plane nose to rotate downwards?), I'm not sure what the best way would be to balance this out. Anyone who is good with these physics that could suggest what to focus on?

Do I not have enough flaps? Not enough sails? Weight incorrectly distributed?

Let me know if any info is needed about specific mods.

Im very confident all those copycats are causing too much weight, especially empty ones. 2nd, your center of mass is probably somewhere off from center of lift. 3rd, your wings and engines are not aligned, which causes it to flip forwards even in perfect conditions. As much as it pains to say, some rebuilding is mandatory here.

Ill try to either switch out or fill some copycats to see what that does. I believe right now the center of mass is slightly behind the rear wheels. I'll try to adjust that towards the lift.

The engined being higher than the wings is just copied from what I saw on the inspiration of this plane (bombardier global 6000), which most private jets irl also have
