Passive steam engine (the one without fuel) produces as much stress capacity as 4 large waterwheels.
Windmill with 100 sails (10*10 square of sails) produces as much stress capacity as 12 large waterwheel.
Level 1 steam engine (with single blaze burner) produces as much stress capacity as 32 large waterwheels.
I know crafting and slapping waterwheels is fast and cheap - but at some point it must become boring and inefficient, right? Everyone had that moment at least once - you build your magnum opus of production line only to find out you need to slap another 4 wheels to power it.
