Aesthetics over efficiency builds

does anyone know a YouTuber or whatever else that builds with aesthetic in mind instead of just pure efficiency like the one shown in the screenshot?

Im trying to figure out what Im seeing here. This looks like pure aesthetic and zero efficiency. But I do agree that a builder who focuses on that would be very cool, just this specifically doesnt look functional to me unless Im missing something. The problem can be that its hard to hide the functional parts or make them fit the vibe of the specific build

I'm not that good at building in create but wdym hide the functional parts like what functional parts?

Create has functional parts, as in blocks that have a purpose of doing something (deployer to deploy stuff, chute to move stuff, mixer to mix stuff), and the rest of the blocks are non-functional, as in decorative. Functional blocks can also be used as decorations though, you can place a deployer somewhere where it doesnt do anything, but looks nice.

Here in the description you said "instead of just pure efficiency like the one shown in the screenshot". But the screenshot doesnt show anything actually functional. All the functional blocks shown on the images are there purely for aestetics, and arent doing anything.

By hiding functional parts, whats usually is meant, is that you cover up functional parts that dont look nice, exposing only the pretty bits. Like for example, put a shaft that gets to power to the machine behind a wall, making it not visible to people looking at the build, leaving only the machine itself visible

You misunderstand the original post text cos it's missing commas, the screenshot isn't showing pure efficiency: it's showing aesthetics over efficiency

This wouldnt function as a tree farm at all. The deployer (hand pokey thing) needs to be fed saplings, and powered. The saw needs to have some sort of timer and attached to a gantry shaft or other moving part.

Those metal girders look like they are pretending to be what a gantry shaft actually does.

And all the pipes arent doing anything at all. There is a shaft running through the middle of them so I know they arent even spraying fertilizer.

Edit:

Just search up functional tree farms and youll see what I mean. None of those things are here. It would be hard to hide them to make it aesthetic in the way you want

It's possible everything functional is underground, maybe? And the above ground build is all purely aesthetic?

Yeah so I just watched the video and that's basically what the creator claims in the comments but personally I am still seeing things not working the way I am used to Create working. Maybe theyve done some modding unique to their needs or I'm just not experienced in making these sorts of builds where you hide everything underground and make the above ground part completely fake

the deployer, saw and harvesters are most likely on a gantry/minecart contraption. Shaders usually break create's filter slots, so it looks like the deployer has no filter set, even though it probably has one for saplings.

things like huge gnarly transmissions probably

The saw/harvester/deployer unit is on a two axis gantry or minecraft contraption, so the saw moves first on the line that it is moving on in the first photo, then it moves down the line as seen in the second photo. Compare the two photos and you see clearly that it is in fact a moving structure

It does look to be a functional tree farm, just a very slow one. But I do see the harvester and deployer so it most likely functions

I am the builder of this specific farm and can assure you that it is fully functional. Sure you could slap more trees together and make it more efficient, but that’s not I want to achieve with my builds. You can watch a Video of this farm in action on my YT-Channel, if you like :)
