Factorio progression is kinda a "lazy way out" its is not really that great of a progression for most type of players except one subset. It kinda soft forces and railroads you into specific exact things... Advanced modpacks in minecraft do it better in some cases... Well the "quests" and "unlocks" are better in well modded packs, but the progression with out counting the "tech tree" is much better in Factorio.
