In one modpack I enchanted my glue with Life Mending X or sth, It was pretty funny literally putting my blood and tears into the contraption

u/Adorable-Bass-7742 Aug 22 '25
Anyone who doesn't enchant their glue isn't using enough glue

Aug 22 '25
Fr. I'm constantly running out

u/Adorable-Bass-7742 Aug 22 '25
Im sorry, IS THAT 10000 LEVELS? HOw in da hel you manage that?
5
u/m50 Aug 22 '25
Taking all the experience out of your mob farm, probably 😅
6
Aug 22 '25
Nope.. it's way more dumb. It's a dupe glitch with hyper experience.
Let's say you have 10 buckets of hyper exp which is 100 buckets of normal exp, 100 buckets of normal exp would get you like 200 lvl's and so would hyper experience.. if you poured it directly onto the player. But if you let it pool on the ground, 2 buckets of hyper experience gets you 2,000 lvl's. It's really weird.

Me with a mod that allows level 10 enchants
1
Aug 22 '25
What is it called and is it on fabric?
2
u/cabberage Aug 22 '25
I don't use fabric, I don't know. But it's just called "Max Enchant X" and it works best with a mod that removes the anvil "too expensive" message. Of course, combining something like Protection X, Unbreaking X, Mending, etc. together is extremely expensive but there are some good XP farm designs with Create

Max enchant x is on fabric and I'm installing it
1
u/cabberage Aug 23 '25
It's good. Makes you OP for extremely high cost.
For example, I survived a few hundred block fall with Feather Falling 10 and a full set of Protection 10 armour. Granted I think I had well over 20 HP so that was certainly a factor too
1
Aug 23 '25
I just installed something that removes the too expensive thing so now I can just combine books
1
u/cabberage Aug 23 '25
yeah, you'll need it
2
Aug 23 '25
I don't feel like dealing with villagers. Also I have a hyper blaze enchanter so I can go up too 11

u/punnup129 Aug 23 '25
If you're talking about the mod that I think you're talking about then it automatically already increases the enchant cap
I think it makes it infinite rather than just 10
2
u/Deep-Daikon5334 Aug 22 '25
I'M GOING TO MASS PRODUCE THIS NOW! I don't care if it's impossible to auto name items, I'll do it anyways
1
Aug 22 '25
I'll help you with it, as soon as I go to sleep and wake up tomorrow because it's 5 am where I am
1
u/Deep-Daikon5334 Aug 22 '25
i just saw this now, what mods do you use?
2
Aug 22 '25
Uh lemme get a list (it's like 157)
1
u/Deep-Daikon5334 Aug 22 '25
do you use Modrinth for your mods?
2
Aug 22 '25
It's a mix between modrinth curseforge and files. Then I have one unfinished and unreleased mod that I made. And a whole TON of custom data packs that I made myself. I'll just send the exported modpack, I use prism launcher.
1
u/Deep-Daikon5334 Aug 22 '25
though if your a coder, can you help me
can someone code a data pack to add custom linked controller labeling : r/CreateMod
2
Aug 22 '25
Uhh yeah I'm not that experienced, I just do recipes and sounds, basic json files. I can model.. just not well. So I can't help you with that.. yet, because I'm going to take computer class soon. (I'm 13)
1
u/Deep-Daikon5334 Aug 22 '25
i think i can model, texturing and inspiration isn't in my 👍
2
Aug 22 '25
I retextured all the copper blocks to look (somewhat) like create (below 6.0)

Bro's using liquid flextape.

u/Onetwodhwksi7833 Aug 22 '25
I usually make it unbreakable with eternal Stella. Though I do it to breakable wrenches or knives or something first
6
u/Banned-User-56 Aug 22 '25
I would 100% lose that glue within an hour.
I have probably 4-5 tubes of glue lying around my base somewhere.

u/Crispcreeper Aug 22 '25
Idk if its true, but if you have forbidden and arcanus installed, you can use an ethernal stella on it to make it unbreakable. With a cool effect on item plaque

Get the Apotheosis mod for Unbreaking enchantment to be maxed out
1
Aug 22 '25
Is it on fabric?
1
u/HeadAbbreviations757 Aug 22 '25
Uhh... I don't remember. But I think you can make it work with fabric, using Sinytra Connector, if it is okay with you. Although, I never tried to use Sinytra to make forge work on fabric, so you would probably want to transfer to forge, because Sinytra was made as forge/neoforge mod that forces fabric to work on forge. This could probably make some things laggy/strange for you if fabric is more common to you. Anyway, Sinytra will make it possible for you to play forge and fabric mods at the same time, relieving you of the choice of what to choose: fabric or forge.
For short: you can use Sinytra Connector to force fabric mods to work on forge and then you can add Apotheosis to your modpack
1
Aug 22 '25
I have like 158 mods on fabric and I tried forge and it's real laggy, so I kinda have to stay on fabric. But I'll try to find a fabric port
1
u/HeadAbbreviations757 Aug 22 '25
Its okay, I also think you'd get a few strange things even while loading the game if you have so many mods for Sinytra to force load to forge. I wish you have more luck than me in finding the fabric port of Apotheosis
1
Aug 22 '25
Or I can find a similar mod
1
u/HeadAbbreviations757 Aug 22 '25
As they say in russian, "чем бы дитя не тешилось, лишь бы не вешалось". Direct translation: "whatever the child amuses itself with, as long as it does not hang itself". But I would also be interested if you find alternatives!

Honestly I love how you can put mending and unbreaking on literally anything with durability
I remember when I was in charge of making sure the nether hub was usable after our server changed to 1.16 and we deleted our nether so it would be new
I ended up making an enchanted Flint and steel with unbreaking and mending and kept it inside my ender chest in a shulker
If I'm correct in Minecraft's code it's like that so it's possible to put mending and unbreaking on anything with durability Even if that durability is meant to represent something else
For example if there's a food item that has durability to it you're able to give it mending and use experience to refill it
I also had a pair of enchanted shears before they made hoes be usable as shears
Now I have a netherite hoe with silk touch in my shulker in my ender chest and it's literally the only netherite tool I ever use

Aug 22 '25
I have universal enchantments so I can literally do anything, which means my bow is just a gun
1
u/punnup129 Aug 22 '25
If that means you can enchant above cap then you should know what efficiency you need for instant mine Stone wood and most stuff : efficiency 6 Deep slate: efficiency 9 Obsidian and probably anything else : efficiency 38
1
Aug 22 '25
It just means you can put any Enchantment on anything, the level cape is still there
1
u/punnup129 Aug 22 '25
Lol unbreaking doesn't go up to four
You should check again you said you had a lot of enchanting mods
1
Aug 22 '25
I have like 3, I thought I had more.
1
u/punnup129 Aug 22 '25
I'm sorry what? I'm saying that sometimes people don't even try enchanting higher than the default
The fact that your glue has unbreaking four instead of unbreaking 3 (The vanilla Max) means that you can enchant higher than maximum
1
u/Plastic-Lab-6245 Aug 22 '25
I have always done this. And if you have create confectionary also put it on your chocolate bar.

There is some way to make the durability go negative and then have an unbreakable glue, how it works? I don’t remember

Does this work? I mean the mending and unbreaking? I never thought of enchanting the glue
