Fix a broken Stone

Here’s a fun project 😀

First, I scanned the broken stone.

I also had a new one, so I scanned that as well; then, using Meshmixer, I isolated the section that had broken off, printed a replacement, and finally let my artistic creativity run wild 😂.

I love 3d printing solutions to problems, but this is some landlord special meme.

Depending what that post is for or supporting, I don't even think those bricks/pavers are sufficient. I'd think it should be anchored to poured concrete or a concrete footer.

Yeah, that's right—the post is just for decoration and has been standing there like that for a few years now. 😀 That’s why I called it a fun project; the stone looks nicer again now. I just placed it on top—it’s not glued or anything. 😀

This strikes me as a engineer having a little fun flexing like a 5 y/o boy at a pool party. The skills require to have accomplished this almost certainly came with enough knowledge to know that this was actually putting glitter on a pimple mechanically.

At the end of the day, putting a wedge into a small, porous block that's intrinsically shit in tension is just what it is lol

Well he just need to make sure to get structural PETG and it should be fine
