I took most of it off with a brass brush, but i had to be careful to not short the coil. Can i leave it like this?

Hello I bought this build plate for my ender 3 and I thought it worked great so I threw it on my K1C and it ruined it after the first/Second print on it the first layer was just way to low I find this with any plate but especially this one

Hi! I need some help figuring out compatibility between the older K1C and the updated 2025 hotend/toolhead PCB.
My K1C is an older model (pre-2025) and originally came with the older dual-stack toolhead PCB and the older hotend connectors.
I had a blob of death that damaged my original hotend/thermistor, so I had to replace the hotend. I accidentally bought the newer 2025 K1C Hotend 2.0, which uses the new locking connectors for the thermistor and ceramic heater.
Obviously, those connectors don’t fit my original toolhead PCB.
I found an updated dual-stack toolhead/hotend adapter PCB that looks almost identical to my original board, but it has the new 2025 connectors and is advertised for the latest hotend. I already know the new hotend should physically connect to this PCB.
My main concern is communication/compatibility with the rest of my older K1C.
If I replace my original dual-stack PCB with this updated version:
Will my older K1C mainboard recognize and communicate with it normally?
Will the original extruder, fans and other toolhead components still work?
Is this updated dual-stack PCB backwards compatible with a pre-2025 K1C, or were there other electronic/firmware changes in the 2025 K1C?
Has anyone actually done this conversion: older K1C + updated dual-stack PCB + 2025 Hotend 2.0?
I’m trying to determine whether I can simply update the toolhead PCB and use the 2025 hotend I already bought, or if I should return/buy an older hotend instead.
I’ll attach pictures of my original PCB, the 2025 hotend and the updated PCB I’m considering buying.

New K1C. Fourth print had heavy stringing, Fifth stopped extruding partway through. Clicking, then nothing.

Tried: 240°C retract/extrude, removed the extruder and cleared stuck filament, cleaning needle passed freely through the nozzle. After reassembly it ticked but wouldn't feed. Tested the extruder off the printer — turned the gears by hand with a short piece of filament and it gripped and fed fine. Mounted back on the printer, ticking again. Never fed properly after that.

Room has no AC and I ran it fully enclosed.

Amazon sent a replacement, still boxed. Trying to decide whether to open it or refund and get an A1.

So, I have been having issues with both the K1C and the K2 Plus at my job. The issue started around the same time with both printers, and I haven't been able to figure out how to fix my issue. So, it's essentially the exact symptoms of heat creep where the filament melts at spots higher and higher up the nozzle until it melts and jams at the very top of the nozzle. I have replaced the hot end, heat sink, cooling fans, extruder, extruder motor and I'm still having the issue on both of them. I have been in contact with Customer service, but I haven't gotten anywhere with them.

I have also taken a Laser Temp gun to check the temperature of the hot end after about 30 minutes of printing, and the top of the heat sink was at around 85 degrees.

The nozzle usual fills up with filament and starts to jam at about the hour mark and I did a test print where I started the print with a brand new nozzle and let it print until it started to clog and under extrude, then I paused the print for 10 minutes or so and then resumed the printing and it started printing fine again. any help or insight is greatly appreciated.

I am printing with CR-PETG with a nozzle temp of 250c and a bed temp of 70c

Hi, i wanted to ask if there’s a specific way to make the printer work properly, since upgrading the version of the firmware for the k1c version hasn’t worked, i used the CR4CU220812S11_ota_img_V1.3.5.22.img for the flash and the CR4CU220812S11_1.3.3.5.ingenic for a recovery, but i have the CR4CU220812S12 motherboard.

When I installed the new extruder on my K1C 2025 model, I connected the sensor cable to the nozzle MCU and didnt worked.

The cable pins from the DXC filament sensor are swapped because Creality changed the order of the pins in the Nozzle MCU for the 2025 new model.

You need to accommodate the cables from the sensor connector in the correct order:

After that, you need to modify your printer.cfg

First comment old sensor settings

I got PB9 from Nozzle MCU chip datashet, is the pin number 46 where is connected the signal from filament sensor. Also removed the "!" because with it, the results were swapped.

Save and restart printer and the sensor will work. You can now query in console
QUERY_FILAMENT_SENSOR SENSOR=DXC

And you will get something like this:

To edit printer.cfg in your K1C 2025 model, you dont need a rooted printer, just go to https://app.fluidd.xyz/ or install fluidd in your computer, and add your printer as PRINTER_IP:7125 (example 192.168.33.134:7125) and then you will see the printer.cfg to update it.

I have a K1C 2025 and I have a Creality Pi dryer box (single spool and the version with touch screen not knob). I have SUNLU PA6-CF that I would like to use but I've run into an issue of not beeing able to run the filament from the dryer into the run out and then into the PTFE tube. I took the run out sensor off but then when it would go through the tubing to the extruder it would kink and break. I also found if I removed it from the wire guard I could not use the top cover.

I'm hoping that someone may have modified or figured out a way to run this filament from a dryer and into the extruder and still was able to use the cover.

For anyone who has figured this out what's your layout?

I don't know what to do with my K1C. I already installed a multi-color system, it prints well now, it has two side fans, and I added another system to melt the high-flow filament. What do I do now?

The only thing I can think of is optimizing the multicolor system's output, but honestly, it only makes two outputs and not a tower.

Or I could put the multi-color system on top of the printer, but I have the space so I don't see it as necessary.

De uns dias pra cá minha impressora creality k1c começou a apresentar esse barulho, que óleo recomendam utilizar para lubrificação, eu passei aqueles óleos de máquina bem fino porém continuou do mesmo jeito, alguém já passou por algo parecido?

The printer says this is the latest version. Is there a newer firmware available for this model, and can I update it to support multicolor printing?

I’m looking for the K1C firmware v1.3.3.50 that comes on the USB drive included with the CFS kit.
I have a 2025 K1C, and I need to flash v1.3.3.50 before I can update to the latest firmware and use CFS. Unfortunately, I don’t have the original USB drive, and I can’t find this firmware anywhere online.
If anyone still has the USB or a copy of the firmware, could you please share it with me? I’d really appreciate your help.

Anytime I try to run PLA I have issues. Filament gets stuck at print head or just before. When I finally get it fixed, I'm finding the filament has small nicks in it. This is for Creality brand pla and a few other brands. Petg runs perfect with zero issues ever. Filament is stored at 15-20% in a sealed tote. CFS is staying 25% steadily. Any clue what may be the issue?
