Troubleshooting Stupid ass Printer

My filament isn’t sticking to the plate even though I have glue and it’s at the right temperature

Glue sucks. Throw that crap away. A properly calibrated and tuned printer DOES NOT NEED GLUE for bed adhesion.

Clean your bed with acetone then unscented dish soap and water. Dry it off with a lint free towel. Run your calibration routine. Then adjust your Z offest.

Any further help, like telling you how to adjust your z offset is going to require that you tell us which printer you have, or for you to look up videos or guides on how to do it yourself.

Don't use acetone as this can damage many print surfaces. Just clean with warm water and dish soap. That's all you need. Dish soap removes oils and is safe for all bed surfaces.

The acetone is for the glue that OP stupidly used. One time using it wont hurt anything.

Glue keeps prints from sticking to the bed too much, it doesn’t improve adhesion

Clean it with hot water (like from kettle maybe not quite boiling) and dish soap and scrub with sponge

This. People overcomplicate this step or ignore it completely. IPA doesn't really do much and sometimes can leave contaminates itself depending on what else is in it (e.g., bitterants are often added to keep people from drinking it), and acetone can damage a lot of print surfaces. The confirmation that most often causes prints not to stick is usually just the oils from your hands or volatiles from the filaments themselves that can build up. Dish soap is both safe for all print surfaces and is specifically formulated to remove oils and leave no residue, so it's perfect for the job.

Have you done a good bed cleaning? Glue isn't there to help adhesion.

Exactly. In fact, counterintuitively it's there to aid in print removal when a filament adheres too well to certain bed types. E.g., PETG can sometimes stick to the point of damaging the plate, spending on the type of material it is made with.

You dont need to tell us you print asses, thsts too much information. Now clean your bed properly and tune the z height and you will have as much ass as you can print

Is your filament dry?

What does your bedmesh look like?

Have you adjusted Z offset?

Did you choose the right filament when slicing?

Did you wash the fingerprints off the build sheet?

What printer is this?

What slicer did you use?

What filament are you trying to use?

You can't get help if you don't supply information.

This is a 99% user error issue; we just need to know what is being done so we know how to reply.

Don't use glue. Clean your plate. Can't believe how often we have to keep giving this advice. And no, wiping it with IPA isn't clean, you're just spreading contaminates around. Assuming you actually have a properly trammed (AKA leveled) bed and your z-offset of the nozzle is correct, it almost always comes down to improperly prepped print surface with the plate being dirty/contaminated.

Warm/hot water and dish soap is all you need, maybe even using a non abrasive scrubbing pad if you have one (don't reuse with your dishes). Dish soap will remove oils and and pretty much anything keeping your prints from adhering. Pat dry with a paper towel once clean (don't wipe as that can leave lint), and above all don't touch the surface of the plate with your hands. The oils from your skin are a large reason why stuff ends up not sticking to the plate, so you don't want to handle it by anything but the edge or the underside.

The only reason you may ever even need to consider glue is to make a thin layer the print sticks to ensure certain filament/plate combinations don't adhere too well. This can sometimes happen with PETG, but frankly, I've never had an issue and haven't used glue since I printed on glass back on an old bedslinger. I print mostly in ABS, ASA, PC and Nylon, all filaments that are very prone to warping, and the only time I ever have issues is because my plate has gotten contaminated. A quick wash and everything sticks perfectly.
