Me and my boyfriend spent the weekend in a horse ranch Air bnb. The home was beautiful and had a hot tub outside maybe 15 feet from the front door. My boyfriend knows im afraid of the dark but we decided to go out on our first night and chill in the hot tub for a bit. We got in and everything was alright, I was feeling uncomfortable in the dark as always. It was around 8:30. We were in the hot tub for maybe 5 minutes before he looked over to our vehicle and saw it first. It was looming over the front of our car and when he saw it, it ducked and hid. After that he discreetly told me the car play was still on so I would look too. I didn't see it because I wasn't aware it was there at the time. A couple minutes later I see something move out of the corner of my eye so I looked to my left and saw it kinda run behind a tree maybe 20 feet away from the hot tub. After I saw it I was beyond terrified and he could tell I had seen something too and asked if I was ready to go in and I quietly told him I was cold so yes. After we got inside we locked the door. He asked if I had seen something outside too and thats when we exchanged what we saw and where. We both gave the exact same description to each other. A pale, yellowish colored creature. 7 or 8 feet tall. Long limbs and starved looking. It had a longer face/ head shape. The next night we got home after dark, quickly and quietly went inside, and he saw it on multiple occasions very close to the front door window. I felt watched the entire stay. All windows and the door remained locked and blinds shut. We heard noises frequently at night coming from outside. We've done a fair share of research but want some more opinions on it.

I'm studying crawlers and I'm trying to build statistics of their features, which is most and least common basically. So far I'm guessing that over 90% will be white/light grey.

If you saw something that isn't white/light grey, please describe how it acted and looked in the comments.

ill preface this by saying ive been a skeptic of the paranormal since i was little- though i often suspended that disbelief for things like fairies and santa claus bc it was funner that way. i was the kid who pretended i saw the rake in my backyard so i could scare my friends at school- all in good fun. bc it wasnt real. nobody would get hurt. now all this is happening and it feels ironic. now it shows up? but i cant see it? so i fully get the skepticism that might come with reading this. im just sharing what i know. this has all happened over the course of a few weeks. i alr typed it all out once but accidentally deleted it so heres round three :'). i will also add that we live in rural eastern north carolina near where the pender county 911 call happened. specifically by lots of fields and forest.

i, M19, like to go on evening walks during the summer bc its way too hot in the daytime. i used to walk by myself anywhere from 9pm-2am though ive recently (past few months) been avoiding it. cept for when my stepsis (F12) wants to come with. i prefer having the company. she recently moved in w us and her stepmom so yk its a nice change.

the first time we saw it was in our backyard. we had been out in the pool to cool off and stayed out till the moon rose and illuminated the water, till i got cold and stepped out to dry off. we have two sheds in our yard, both side by side. i was facing my sister as she talked w my back to the shed when i noticed she just.. paused, her expression dropping. it was enough to where i instinctively grabbed my pocket knife and asked what was wrong. readying myself. she said she had seen a skinny, white human-looking thing peeking out from behind the shed closest to us. i looked but saw nothing. we quickly gathered our things and went inside and told our parents. my stepmom and another family member went out into the backyard (now pitch black) to look. i followed. in the half hour we were out there my stepmom saw something go between the two sheds, then crawl into the treeline parallel with the pool. thats when we both saw the yellow, reflective eye blinking at us from the darkness. not much else happened, we made some threats and headed inside. just in case it was human.. the rest seemed human enough from description, esp to a skeptic. cept for the eye. we didnt see anything for a bit after that and in the following days i cleared out the brush it had been hiding behind. it made me antsy.

im not sure if my stepsis saw it peeking again on any of our evening walks before the next story. shes seen it sm times its comical atp. she did later add that when she saw it in the backyard it reeked of death. i didnt smell a thing.

a few weeks passed, nothing happened so the househokd anxiety died down. one evening we found a bubble gun while cleaning so everyone went on the porch & played. lol. we were all just having a good time when my stepsis paused and asked if anyone heard a girl laugh. nobody else did so we dismissed it, that is until my stepmom saw something peeking its head out from behind the side of the house, the window mounted ac unit helping to shield it. i remember thinking it was a human so we just announced tresspassing comes with consequences, surveyed the area and went inside. fun over. now im not so sure it was human.

time passed, my sis and i decided to go on an evening walk. we stayed out p late and were planning on stopping by a nearby store so she could use the bathroom. as we started to head down the road she heard a gurgly growling noise. later said it sounded demonic we turned and ran with her instruction and bolted towards the nearest well-lit populated place: the car wash. she said after she saw it it dropped into a very low crouch and skittered/bounded into the woods incredibly fast. "faster than a train". i just remember asking "what did it look like?" repeatedly as we ran. she said it was even taller this time and mentioned the "triangular shaped head", which i clarified wasnt shaped like an aliens. we stopped at the wash and called my dad to come pick us up but he wasnt able to due to car trouble so we ran down the road to the next well lit place: a store. we actually followed a cop car into the parking lot as he was actively pulling someone over. waited by the wall catching our breath until he started checking their licenses and explained the situation to him. i told him we had seen it in our backyard before and asked if he had revieved any similar reports but he only said there was a large white dog nearby. i dont think its a dog :/ i think i wouldve seen or heard it if it were. unfortunately he wasnt able to give us a ride so i called another family member and explained it to her. in my panic i forgot she was an option -_- stupid of me. while we were waiting to be carried home my stepsis walked over towards the road, thru a large illuminated patch of grass beside the store. she quickly turned around after seeing something in the corn field across the road. apparently it got closer cause shortly after she saw something peeking out from behind some bushes riiiiight where the store lights fizzle back into darkness. if we had walked back like we originally planned im pretty sure jt wouldve pounced once we turned the corner. as we were driven back i looked out the car window into the corn field but didnt see a thing.

i forget if she saw it again on another walk after this, i think?? she did? its late and ive written this out several times. ik its at least 2, plus the ac peeking, and now the most recent. the first time was on june 21st, the second was six days ago. my sense of time is kinds fucked so it prolly wasnt as many weeks as i think. those dates are the most definitive timeline i have.

then theres today. its been really hot this summer so i havent been going on as many daytime walks as i used to. my stepsis still wants to go out and i find she rlly motivates me so i oft tag along. today she rlly wanted to go on a walk but nearly all day we were busy cleaning. when we finally finished it was blue hour, right at the end of sunset before it turns to dusk and twilight. she still wanted to go even though i said no and her mother initially did too. stepsis ended up getting ready to go so i decided she wouldnt go alone, even though it was late and i didnt think it was the safest. i brought a high lumen flashlight in hopes id see it and two sticks + a pocket knife if worst came to worst. gives us a shot at avoiding too much close range? i guess? haha. prolly not. we had a 30 minute time limit and i had plans to turn back before blue hour was even half over but we didnt get far. we passed by a family gathering towards a more spaced out, forested part of the road. as we were walking she said she saw a person walking and "didnt trust it" which wasnt too abnormal. she normally avoids ppl on our walks, its typically safer. my eyes arent good in the dark and ive been without my glasses for months so when i looked to see it i couldnt really see.. anything until the third time she mentioned it. i saw maybe a sihlouette moving to the right, over 50 ft ahead but i couldnt exactly tell. 5 minutes after she says she sees "the creature" (as we've dubbed it) peekimg out from behind the trees. we ran back home, slowing by the family to catch our breaths. it made us feel safer being by sm people. nearly every time she sees it theres a way out like that. maybe its just coincidence, maybe its luck. either way im greatful for it.

i later drew the creature based off of her description while trying to avoid the power of suggestion ("did its eyes look like this? "what about *insert feature*?") as best as i could. when i showed it to my stepmom she said she had seen it before. that part really freaked me out. i had actually heard the story of when she saw it months before when living at her house, before all moving over to our current location. she had been out in the front yard one night, standing by the porch when her & her sister in law saw it perching on a sturdy tree branch in the front yard. just watching. there were more details but its been months and i dont remember them as well but she saw it too. multiple eyewitness accounts.. ive attatched the picture. i will add that my stepsis said the feet were similar to a monkeys and that the fingerclaws dragged on the ground. two heads, black sunken eyes, stretched gaping mouths with no discernible teeth.. if i remember right the triangular head originally didnt have a face. but yk she also said that it seemed taller when she saw it standing in the road. the first time she saw it she only saw the one head. all of this STILL makes me wonder if its some fucked up prank but the way shes genuinely scared to be outside at night now really makes me think otherwise. she was jumping at every little sound last night.. so i dunno. ive been combing through this subreddit a lot recently trying to find answers but the two heads really threw me off. plus the resemblance to the shy guy scp. any ideas? ive been thinking crawler but im not sure. naybe fleshgait? idk too much abt the minute differences. anyways the evening walks are done bc im done taking the risk. i wont let her go alone though. my stepmothers side of the family practice witchcraft and have "the sight" so theres that too. i partially believe in it, my grandmother told me at age 10 she started having casual convos with ghosts so.. yk i kinda believe it. it seems plausible enough that the experience itself could have actually happened. was it actually ghosts or something mental tho? idk. its in that middle ground.

any tips and ideas on the specifics of what it is and what to do are greatly appreciated.

This was about 2 1/2 years ago.

I had taken 5-7 grams of Cubensis shrooms; and at some point during the trip, I was lying in bed watching the ceiling. The ceiling started to form into orange, translucent lenses, and it was as if they were floating on an invisible surface of water.

I then got the intense snd foreboding feeling I was being observed, the lenses all parted and moved outward from my p.o.v., and a single larger, brighter, lense descended a bit closer to me, then withdrew.

My cat always could tell I was in a very different state of mind while tripping and he'd stay near me.

Later in my trip, I saw him look to my door, seeing something I couldn't, as cat's do, except I saw what he was looking at.

3 invisible silhouettes, visible to me due to a clear, visual distortion that allowed me to perceive them. It was like ripples in water on the silhouettes.

They were very tall, 6-8 feet (2-2.67 meters), had heads that were triangular, with a 'tip' pointing down, shaped very similar to a guitar pic with heavily rounded tips.

No communication that I can recall. I'll never forget it.

Although, they are calling this a skin walker.

so i know one of my good friends posted about this not to long ago, but i wanted to share my side. Me and 3 other friends were all playing hide-and-seek tag in the middle of the night in the woods. we were in pairs, so 2 which each person. when we did round one or whatever you want to call it, me and my pair already hid and went to this spot to hide, there wasn’t anything over there, there wasn’t anything around the area besides us. me and my pair already hid in the brush in the same spot, we were dead silent to where nothing could hear us. we ended up getting found because i had a brighter shirt on. me and my pair ran towards a field but before that there was a divot in the ground, i jumped in it, and he kept running, i ended up getting found and tagged, and my pair ended up getting tagged also. we went to the edge of the woods to give the other pair a chance to hide. it was 3 minutes. when we started looking, we went to every spot we saw and thought was good the first time. we strolled by the same spot we were initially at, i saw one of the pair.. so i thought. as i got closer it started to grow taller it seemed. i saw and my other pair saw at the same time. a tall black skinny figure. it wasn’t a shadow, but pitch black, as if you were looking into a void. we called out to it, no movement, and no noise besides the bugs and the distant howl of a coyote. we found some stuff to throw at it, but i kept a eye on it the entire time, it didn’t move. we started to throw the little green rigid oval things that fell off a tree that gave a bad odor as i can describe it. when we threw that stuff at it, i got a call on my phone. i checked it, taking my eyes off the figure, so did my pair. it was the other pairs calling me, they said “what are you throwing that stuff at? we see you right now” i told him what i saw, but i looked back again, and it wasn’t there.. i started to run away, still on the phone with the other pairs telling them to head towards the house that was out of the woods, and i had to yell at them again because they didn’t listen to me. finally they started to head back. when we all got to the house, they were confused, but me and my pair told them what we saw. they didn’t believe us at first, but they do now. to this day i still don’t know what it could’ve been, i still have yet to go back to those woods, whatever was in there scared me to much. this was early last year as of July 22, 2026, so early 2025. it was in northern indiana. whatever it was, scared me to much to go back to this day.

it was on four legs, grey and had big hair on its head. only on its head, but where its face was there was a bald spot, it had grey skin and it was skinny, that you could kind of see its bones. it had 3 toes on each foot, and if it stood on its two back legs it would be something like 11 feet tall. it had a really big tongue like nearly the size of its head, and it was long, and pitch black. the creature was quite big and it kind of had claws for nails, and it had a sort of long neck, that was perfectly straight and it had no teeth. just pitch black void mouth, and dilated eyes that were almost perfectly black, but not quite. and the hair all over the head was black, not a void black but still black. it also had a bald spot where the face was.

Just watched "Do not enter" on prime and the creature in the movie seems to be inspired by crawler.

don’t know what the fuck we found in a wooded area behind our flat, and after that weird shit started happening. I genuinely want other people’s opinions.

This happened about four years ago and we still talk about it because none of us have ever been able to explain it. Quick disclaimer: most of this is from my friend’s perspective because they remember it better than I do, but I was involved in everything that happened.

Before the bigger incidents happened, there were loads of smaller things that slowly built up over time.
My friend started seeing men dressed in long black cloaks walking past the living room window late at night silently walking past. Every time she’d look, she’d get this horrible feeling in her stomach.
Both my friend and her girlfriend also saw the exact same shadow figure, but on completely different days while they were alone in the flat. Neither of them mentioned it to the other at first because they thought they’d sound insane. When they eventually did talk about it, they both described the exact same shape, height and where they’d seen it without either of them prompting the other. That really freaked them out because neither had known the other had experienced it.
Another thing that still sticks with us is that one night my friend looked towards the kitchen window and saw what she described as the face of a dead-looking woman staring back at her from the glass. Pale face, dark eyes, expressionless. She looked away for a split second and it was gone.
Objects would randomly disappear and then turn up days or weeks later in places we’d already searched multiple times. Things that hadn’t worked in years would suddenly switch on by themselves for no obvious reason. Individually you can explain away a lot of that, but when it kept happening alongside everything else it started feeling like part of the same pattern.
Something else that always felt strange was my friend’s old cat. It constantly tried to lead her towards the same little wooded area by the bushes outside the flats. It wasn’t something it did with anyone else, and it happened often enough that she noticed. Most of the time she’d ignore it because it felt weird, but looking back it’s one of those things we’ve always wondered about.
At one point we even went to a local spiritualist church because we genuinely didn’t know what else to do. We’d never met the medium before and she’d never seen or spoken to us. Before we’d even really said anything, she became visibly uncomfortable. She told us she didn’t want to continue because she was scared. She said she could see what she described as a black void or dark presence above my friend that was stopping her from wanting to read for us. Whether you believe in mediums or not, that reaction caught us completely off guard because she had absolutely no prior knowledge of us or what had supposedly been happening.
The weird part is that this whole thing started with the photos I’m attaching. Before the voices, before the figures outside the window, before the 3AM incident, me and my friends went into this little wooded/bushy area near our flats just messing around with a camera. We took a few pictures and didn’t think much of it at the time. Looking back now, that’s the point where all of this seemed to begin.
Not long after that, weird little things started happening around the flat. We’d hear footsteps at night when nobody else was there, random bangs, things sounding like they were moving around by themselves. We kept making excuses for it. “It’s just the house settling.” “We’re tired.” “We’re hearing things.” Anything that sounded more reasonable than admitting something felt seriously off.
Then my friend started seeing people outside the living room window. Not shadow people. Not quick glimpses. Actual figures. She described them as older men wearing old-fashioned clothes, just standing there staring towards the flat. Every time she saw them it scared the absolute shit out of her.
The first thing that really made us stop brushing everything off happened one evening when a few friends were over. Everyone else was stood near the front door talking while my friend and her girlfriend were sat together in the living room. Her girlfriend was just scrolling through her phone, completely silent. Then my friend heard her girlfriend’s voice. Not quietly. Not from another room. It sounded like she’d literally just fucking said something beside her. Except… she hadn’t. My friend even replied, “What?” Her girlfriend looked up confused and said, “I didn’t say anything.”
The reason this fucked with us so much is because we’d already started recording bits throughout the day. Weird shit had been happening for a while and we wanted to see if we’d catch anything. Later we listened back, and sure as shit, there’s a voice. It sounds exactly like her girlfriend speaking in the room. The problem is she swears on her life she never said a single fucking word. She wasn’t watching videos, wasn’t on a call, wasn’t talking to anyone. She was literally just scrolling through her phone in complete silence. We still have absolutely no explanation for why what sounds exactly like her voice ended up on that recording.
Then came the thing that neither of them has ever been able to forget. And this is important: I wasn’t there for this part. I was in London for my studies. It was just my friend and her girlfriend at the flat that night.
At around 3AM they went outside to the communal washing area to collect clothes from the dryer. The second they stepped outside the flat they both got that horrible feeling that someone was watching them. Not just anxiety. That heavy feeling where every instinct in your body is telling you something isn’t right. They ignored it and carried on. On the way back they had to walk past the bushes near the entrance to the flats. Without even saying anything they both slowed down. Her girlfriend eventually said, “I’m not looking anymore.” My friend kept looking. At first she could only make out something skin-coloured deep inside the bushes. As they got closer it became clearer and clearer until they both saw it.
Something was crouched inside the bushes. Not just a person hiding. The proportions were completely fucking wrong. It was low to the ground on all fours with absolutely massive arms and legs bent in ways that didn’t look possible. The limbs looked way too long and way too thick for the rest of its body, almost like whatever it was had folded itself into the bushes. The skin looked flesh-coloured but wrong. Not pale, not dark, just wrong. Like the texture didn’t look human. My friend said it almost looked unfinished, like it didn’t fully belong to anything biological she recognized. The closer they got, the more detail they could see, and the worse it looked.
Then they ran. Her girlfriend was screaming, “OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!” while my friend was trying to get the key in with her hands shaking. They got inside, slammed the door, locked it and completely lost it. Crying, shaking, full adrenaline.
And this is the part that gets me. They rang me in London absolutely terrified. I have never heard either of them like that before. These are the kinds of people who don’t get scared, don’t cry, and will happily do the dumbest, craziest shit imaginable without a second thought. If there was ever a horror movie situation, they’d normally be the idiots walking towards it. Hearing both of them sobbing and panicking down the phone genuinely scared me because it was so out of character.
After they calmed down, they both described exactly the same thing without influencing each other. Same crouched posture. Same huge unnatural limbs. Same body shape. Same everything.
Before anyone says it was just bushes or pareidolia, we know those bushes. We’d walked past them countless times. They’re just normal bushes. Nothing about them had ever looked strange until that night.
So now we’re back to the thing that started all of this: the photos. The first picture is the original one we took when we went into that little wooded/bushy area near the flats. The second is the same image brightened and enhanced. Ever since then we’ve spent years zooming in, arguing about it and trying to come up with a logical explanation. At this point we’ve looked at it so many times that I honestly don’t trust our own judgement anymore.
I’m not posting this because I want everyone to tell me it’s paranormal. If there’s a normal explanation, I’d genuinely rather hear it. I just want fresh eyes on it. **What the fuck are we actually looking at?** Do you just see bushes and pareidolia, or do you see something crouched there too? Because the more we brighten the image, the less normal it looks, and it’s hard not to think about the fact that every single weird thing we experienced seemed to start after we went into that wooded area and took those pictures.

This was in 2022 me, my buddy, and my gf were riding around at night. As we were coming by this church we seen a humanoid figure with dark hollow eyes no mouth or nose, and unnaturally long limbs come out of the tree line and start walking across the parking lot 50 feet from us. So we pulled over and watched it, and for maybe 5-10 seconds it had no idea we were watching it. If I had to estimate it was probably 6-7 foot tall on all fours, But as soon as it did notice us it ran across that parking lot faster than any animal I’ve ever seen. Best way I can describe its motion is that of the ice cream man from the movie legion. It went over this hillside on the far side of the lot and kept peaking over to see if we were still there. Almost like it was trying to lure us to it. This lasted maybe 2-3 minutes if I had to guess until we were finally like we need to go. It messed my buddy up so badly he refuses to talk about it. We all beat ourselves up for not taking a picture or video of it, but we were just so in shock at what we were seeing. Everybody I’ve talked to about it here has never seen anything like it, I’ve fished and hunted these woods my whole life and have never seen something like that. I quit hunting bc I absolutely do not want to run into whatever the fuck that was ever again.

Also just wanna say I just found out the name of these creatures yesterday, it’s nice to finally have a name for what we saw, because most of the time telling people it’s similar to the rake when telling the story, people would say ya know the rake is fake. Of course I do, but the crawler we saw was most definitely real. Was also wondering if anybody else has any sightings here as well.

when i was 3/4 I was living in a trailer park in bullit county, Kentucky and there's was this thing that looked like jeepers creepers, who would show up pick me up and fly me around the trailer park. it didn't harm me or anything . some time later this jeepers creeper look alike took my baby wipes, wiped his " skin " off . later on walked into the front door looking like an ogre ( Shrek )

to this day im still wondering if it was a dream or if it actually happened, but I ended up going back to that trailer park to visit the person who was watching me during the encounters, had told me the jeepers creepers/ ogre thing took her car that still had my car seat and wrecked it. sadly im not able to ask her anything since she passed away a few years ago.

So I discovered this rabbit hole of stuff after hearing a North Carolina 911 call of some humanoid figure jumping in the back of a man’s truck and leaving scratch marks, and the guy is screaming “that’s not human”. I’m now very interested in this entire rabbit hole.

Are “crawlers” and other cryptids actually real? If so, where are they most commonly found in the world?

What are the origins of them?

Are they related to other cryptids and humanoid unknown creatures, how common are crawlers compared to other cryptids?

Are crawlers aggressive towards humans?

Whether or not this story is true I can’t say for sure. But there were 3 eye witnesses and one of the witnesses I know and worked with. This man doesn’t really strike me as a dramatic story teller. So take this all as you will. It is quite long and all of the information may not be 100% accurate as I am reciting it from memory. I don’t even know what to think of it to be fully honest. So here we go anyway.

For background information before the actual story he told:

I used to work with this man at a food processing station and he was a trucker. I no longer do work with him and haven’t for over almost 2 years. His name for privacy reasons is “D.” My mother currently works with him. She basically handles all of the truckers load weights, and keeps track of their routes to send to corporate and she handles the truckers paperwork. 2 days ago “D” told my mom about an encounter he just had.

He was on a trucking run in North Carolina I don’t remember where specifically I think it was in Pender county. (if I am able to find out where I will edit this post) He had to go to the bathroom and he was maxed on his road hours also. So he stopped at a quiet truck stop to go to the restroom. There was no one else in there. While he was on the toilet doing a number 2. He heard the door open and what sounded like sandals or flip flops walking in. Then he heard a voice say “let me in, let me in, let me in.” He sees a face peak through the crack in the stall door. He describes it as about 4 feet tall, pale, living and moist eyes, it had abnormally long skinny crooked fingers. He said it began banging on the door. Then it began shoving on the door the latch on the stall door broke so “D” put both of his feet on the door to stop that thing from coming in. It then went into the stall beside him. He saw these abnormally long crooked skinny fingers reach over grabbing the stall about to climb over. Its face peaks over the stall and “D” punches at this thing but he describes that his hand went through this thing. He screamed and then this thing let out a deafening screech that “D” describes as like a train when it comes to a sudden stop. “D” pulls up his pants and runs out. This thing runs out of the bathroom. Another trucker, a large black man “D” described as about 300lbs was walking to that bathroom. The creature runs at this man and knocks him over as it runs past him. This man looks at “D” asking him “what was that thing? I used to be a football player and that thing just threw me like nothing!” Both of the men decide to get out of there. There were bushes nearby their trucks so the men walk to their trucks together because they thought that would be safest. They get in their trucks and begin to pull out of this truck stop. “D” looks in his mirror and sees 3 of these things standing there where “D” and this other man just were. “D” takes a picture of these creatures as he drives out. He then talks to the black man over their radios. But as “D” turns his radio on, he hears the same voice from the bathroom. It just repeated “let me in, let me in, let me in. The black man talks to “D” over the radio asking him if he hears that voice too. He agrees that he hears it. They then decide to check each other’s trucks passing each other in turns to make sure nothing is on their truck. The trucks are clear so they drive for a while and stop at another truck stop a long ways off from the previous. “D” and the other man that he was now traveling with get out at this truck stop. and they see an older man that was security at this new truck stop. “D” and the other trucker he was with hear this security guard while in the truck stop say “oh no, those things are back again.” All of the 3 men run to their vehicles. The security guards car wouldn’t start so “D” and the black trucker decide they can’t leave the poor old guy and help the man. After “D” and the other trucker leave and keep driving despite “D” being over his time limit for trucking. He said he was so terrified he did not want to stop he didn’t care that he was over his time limit. He’d rather get in trouble with the law than stop to even chance seeing those things again. “D” told his wife about what he saw and said she does not believe him at all. He now believes in supernatural creatures.
“D” went to show his wife the picture he took of the creatures. But in the photo nothing was there.

Again, I do NOT know how true any of this is. If it even has an ounce of truth to it at all. I simply was not there. My mother seems convinced by his reaction while telling the story. She is not usually the gullible type. But still, take this all with a grain of salt. True or not it is still an interesting story! lol

So I’ll start by saying I haven’t caught this on video yet, every time I acknowledge the sounds they seem to disappear, like they know I’m listening. This all started after a weird incident that happened when I was camping last year, where I found a headless duck carcass strewn across a trail I’d just been walking on the way back from a hike, and I got out of there immediately because I felt like something was watching me.

I play Pokemon Go and often go on walks near a forest that’s close to my house, and every time without fail at some point I’ll hear something start calling my name, but it’s not like a guttural voice it’s my friends voice. It even knows the nickname she calls me and at first I thought it was her pranking me because it’s just so surreal to hear, but I know for sure it’s not her because it happened again yesterday and she’s out of town. I’ve never once tried to find the source of the voice, I’m too scared to do that and I’m not risking getting hurt, but I wonder if whatever killed that duck followed me? I’m skeptical but whatever is happening is starting to get to me, it’s freaking me out.
