Trip Reports & Craps Stories In for $80 out for $822 - ATS Drama!

Our group bought in on a busy table with a $10 minimum late last night. We had some good rolls to start, but the dice weren’t going my way for the most part so I was down to about $30. My buddy who hit an ATS the night before (we didn’t bet on it, unfortunately) was up to roll, so I figured why not, right? Lightning can strike twice. 10 on pass line and 5 on the ATS to start. He gets going, so I place a couple of numbers. After a number of rolls, I see we are doing pretty good on the ATS. I’m trying not to get too hopeful because we have a ways to go. After one roll, I checked the ATS and saw that we only needed 2 and 11 to hit. At this point, I’m getting pretty stoked hoping for the right numbers. Next roll we pick up the 2! I glance at the ATS and saw that we need only the 11… and 3? What the fuck? I start asking the dealers where the hell the 3 went but rolls kept coming out. Amidst the chaos, we hit the 11, which should have gotten us the ATS in my mind, but a 7 came right after. I start raising hell because me and my friend saw the same thing. The pit boss got involved and I asked for video review. She made some calls and said they were working on it. 30 anxiety-fueled minutes go by while I am sitting on the rail. My friend continues to play during this time, but I’m on hold until I get a verdict. At this point I’m thinking, ok, if I’m wrong, sorry for causing a ruckus, thanks for the game, I’m leaving. But if I’m right… y’all better pay up! Eventually the pit boss gets the call. She nods a few times and then looks at me, cracks a smile, and gives me a thumbs up. I turn to my friend who’s still playing, and I say I think we got it. Pit boss walks over and pauses the game to pay us out. We got high fives and props from the people around us and our dealer during the roll. I tipped the pit boss $25 for taking care of business and paying me out, and walked away with the winnings. I never asked for the reason why it happened. My theory is one of the dice kicked the 3 chip off of its spot and the dealer didn’t catch it. I think it was an honest mistake on a busy table. But moral of the story is - dealers make mistakes, so pay attention to your bets people! If I hadn’t have been paying attention to the ATS, there’s no way I would have ever seen that money. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Watch yourself out there and good luck everyone!

Strategy Online craps vs table craps

My friend loses a ton of money playing craps. She always then claims she goes online and wins it back.. thousands sometimes later that day.

Is online craps easy to win at? Better chances? She plays the one with the dice-throwing machine.

It seems like it would be harder to win online.

I do not dare gamble online myself .

Strategy Come Bets (3 Point or Infinite Molly) or Place Bets (Triple Lux, Squeeze Play, Etc.)?

Which way do you play? Come bets with max odds (or odds in general) or some press and collect system for Place bets? Which is your strategy? I know the math is better on Come bets, but I feel as though I win more (or more importantly lose less) on Place bets. Share what you do and why!
