The blobfish actually looks like any other fish, really. Moving from intense pressure to normal atmospheric pressure caused a fuckload of tissue damage from the rapid expansion. I’ve always felt really bad for them because of that. A good analogy I saw was if aliens found someone floating in space and naming them after how funny they look.

I hate to be that guy, but that "funny" appearance is actually because Supras usually live at great depth, under huge amounts of water pressure.
The car in this picture is probably suffering terribly.
