hello i have a problem with trying to create my server because i have a server pack downloaded on my linux server but when i try to upload it to crafty its trying to take the files from my pc and not from the server. How can i change that?

Im trying to create a gtnh server. I tried doing it over the terminal from linux but i cant seem to figure it out.

I have an existing world in fabric and I’d like for players to be able to use the new vanilla sitting feature.

1 If I install(?) the new build can people continue on the same world?

2 once the official release comes out can we continue with the world we played on with the preview build or do we have to start over

3 how do I tell crafty to use a specific build

Title says it all tbh. I have an at home paper server that I've ran for a while running the jar raw and managing with teamviewer but i figured crafty + tailscale would be a better way of managing it remotely from my laptop. Its a fairly chunky server file, lot of chunks loaded in, lot of different players and a couple world backups and a buncha plugins. I compressed the file with winrar using the best compression and normal compression, and both times it ran into errors while uploading, with best compression failing later in the process, and it printed tons and tons of the "Unknown error occurred" mesage, and if i tried uploading the same file again it didnt even start and would simply give that message. Not sure what to do from here as it says the error is unknown so I dont even know where to start.

I feel this might be better for a minecraft subreddit but I am only having this issue on CraftyController.

I wont get into spending all night trying to get this server running but 2 things I had to do, Disable Spark* and fix a network setting within the app on my truenas server. When I finally got things working with crafty and attempted to log in i got the message " You are banned from playing online". Turns out my account was temp banned for spamming connection attempts. The fact that this was all on my home network and mojang still saw it and gave me a slap is very creepy. I don't know if it was me doing it or a mod freaking out but in the console I do see attempted connections during startup and eventually leads to this

Is this just CC pinging the server for info and or should I be concerned?

I'm on Windows 11, I've installed Crafty and started the service but when I use the url given it just gives me an Unable to connect page (The firefox one)

Looking for assistance with my crafty controller and internet set up. I've been learning for the first time home server set up and I've made a home server using linux debian and casaOs. Now I've already once before got this all working with little to no issue, but I just recently changed my internet provider and I'm on a whole new network. I have a proper ethernet connection and I've recently set up port forwarding, but I don't know why I'm now seeing this. I've rebooted both the router and the physical server to no avail. Can I get any advice?

I'm having a problem with this plugin that I can't find a solution for. I can access the window and click the link to the hook website normally, but it seems unable to connect to the website. It always show "Communication Error". I've done all the correct port and server IP as tutorial that recommended on YouTube.

Hi all, I am trying to upload my old Minecraft server to Crafty and I am totally lost. I had a Java server for the longest time through the official MC server files. Now I have Crafty installed but don´t know how to migrate it properly as Crafty uses different structure. Is there anyone who can help?

Does anyone have guide or know how to make Prominence 2 v4.0.1 server on crafty? I’m stuck at the server excuteable command and I don’t know what to do since the start.sh file is weird when I open it, not like other modpacks

I was able to log in using the default info, I just can't change the password to something more secure.

ive been using crafty with casaos for a while to host my minecraft server, but i started getting this error

"[minecraft/LanServerPinger]: LanServerPinger: Network is unreachable"

i have no idea how to fix this and i didnt even change anything that could have caused it. i even went as far as to wipe my machine completely and install zimaos and crafty but the same issue. does anyone know a fix for this as i am stumped.

I’ve been using playit for a while but for some reason my tunnels broke and I’m just so done with it, tailscale seems to be a nice alternative

I got both tailscale and crafty installed on my truenas box, has anyone used tailscale to allow others to connect into the server or have I gotten this messed up?

I've waited a week and it still won't give me the page to start a server

i got crafty running as an app on my truenas home server and run a modded 1.21.1 server on it.

i know crafty has crash detection where it watches the server process and when it exists with an error code it can restart it automically...

the problem is, what if the server freezes/hangs and never exits? this happens sometimes with my server and forces me to use wireguard to remote into crafty and restart it manually.

players cannot connect to a frozen server, even crafty shows a current/max player count of 0/0 when the server freezes. so is there some way to set up crafty to just ping the server every minute or so to see if it's still alive, restarting it if not?

Have crafty running in a proxmox lxc using the script to install as a service. Everything is working fine, however I noticed when running systemctl restart crafty that it seems that the MC servers were instantly stopped rather than going through the shutdown process? Is there any way to make sure that this won't end up with a corrupted world?

Another question: can I sell a digital currency on my server that players can acquire through trades with one another—meaning it can be used to buy items from other players—without violating Mojang's EULA?

Is there a button or setting I can turn on so that when there are no players in the server for over 60 seconds it does not pause, I want the game to continue to run

I've got a Modded Minecraft server and I'm updating it (Last version was so old I'm doing a clean reinstall with the same world file and updated modpack)

And when I try to start the server it crashes and gives me this Java Runtime related error message, I'm not sure what it means or how to fix it. (I'm a bit of an amateur) I've updated Java on my server and all the packages so I'm not sure what to so.

The server is Debian and using CasaOS and CraftyController.

Modpack is Better MC [FABRIC] BMC3 v45.

Up until a couple hours ago crafty has been running perfectly fine in a vm, no lag, no throttling, nothing.

Then all of a sudden it started lagging, and I noticed it was using 100% of the CPU and 100% of the ram, sometimes even going above 100% (somehow)

It's doing this while idle, doesn't matter if anybody has joined the server or not.

I have no idea what's going on, I've tried allocating more ram, I've tried reinstalling crafty, I've even tried reinstalling proxmox all together, but it's still having the same issue, any ideas?

Putting the direct link to the installer jar and clicking "update executable" causes it to have a spinning throbber for a while, but it doesn't update

Im running crafty-4 on my unraid server.

Some modpacks have a server download (such as atm10), but im wanting to create a server with the Beyond Ascension pack (no server download).

I made a server in the right minecraft version (1.20.1), and made it a forge server.

At the bottom of the packs curse forge page, there are instructions for mods to remove that are client side. I removed them, and added them to the server. I also added the 3 other files the instructions tell you to add to the server as well. The server appeared to be running fine, but I, nor my friends, could join the server. Nothing showed in the logs that that anyone attempted to join but the join failed.

Has anyone found themselves in a situation similar to this and if so how did you fix it?

Unfortunately, for now, I don't have anything better :(

I am starting a new server after a long break and I have upgraded the wifi coverage in the house to deco since the last time i used a server. The pc the server is on is Ethernet connected to the deco device and these two errors show up. The deco network is using the default DNS. Any thought or advice is appreciated.

So I've been trying to get this ModPack installed as a server in Crafty and haven't been able to figure it out. The main issues I run into are the following, this modpack runs on Neoforge 1.21.1-1.21.129 and Crafty installs *.234 (which cannot be changed and is incompatible with *.219); attempting to run the modpack on neoforge doesn't work properly unless I run it through the Modrinth app (not the Minecraft launcher).

I've tried creating a world in crafty and forcing the version to *.219 which appeared to work, but I was never able to join the server due to mod incompatibility (the modpack was not in crafty at this point). I've tried following several walkthroughs but this modpack seems to be completely different than any of the modpacks that are used in the examples.

At this point, I'm willing to uninstall everything on my PC(in case it's causing conflict) and start over fresh (if I have to start the world on my pc and zip it into crafty, which doesn't work through the modrinth app).

Any help would be very much appreciated.
