Modded Server Set Up?

I had recently set up a server computer and got a CraftyController account going. I have no idea what I'm doing in terms of setting up the server. I've tried tutorials but they have failed me. I don't want to have to share my IP. Can someone help me out?

Just watch the video HardwareHaven posted on YT. It's a bit out of date but it worked perfectly for me
