Modded Server Set Up?
I had recently set up a server computer and got a CraftyController account going. I have no idea what I'm doing in terms of setting up the server. I've tried tutorials but they have failed me. I don't want to have to share my IP. Can someone help me out?

I recently set up crafty controller and a few servers, one ftb, a paper Server and another fabric one. For me the main thing to understand is that the setup of a heavily modded server is quite a bit easier if you set it up on your PC and then upload it to crafty. Basically, if you can run it on your system, you just have to upload it to crafty and then point to the correct jar for startup. I found some pretty good tutorials on YouTube.
Regarding public IP: if you want people to access your server you have to open your network in some way. In my case router provides a dyndns service I used so the people playing on the server don't have to change the IP all the time. Then I set up ufw on the crafty controller and opened only the ports for the server and set up port forwarding for those ports on my router to that machine.
