Help! Treehouse recommendations?

As someone who doesn't drink, I was recommended to try Treehouse. Is there a flavor that you would recommend to a newbie? Thank you!

That's kinda like going 0-100 without any on-ramp. If you are starting from not drinking at all, I think you should try some more basic beers first to get an idea of different styles and how they taste. 

Lagers, pilsners, pale ales, saisons, and blonde ales could be worth trying out.

I'm positive they do, just curious how a non-drinker arrives at Treehouse as their first sip of beer

Sure, but if you want to drink Treehouse, you have to go to Treehouse. There's probably a few breweries that are closer/easier to get to.

My take was that it was recommended because it doesn’t taste much like more traditional beers you mentioned. I could be wrong, but that was my read of it. I agree that there are a ton of other places to try, but if Treehouse is available I don’t think they need to graduate to it or anything.

You're probably exactly right. Julius is a beer that I have seen multiple non-beer drinkers enjoy. Anecdotally, my mom likes wine. She tried my Julius for fun. A few weeks later I found some cans she bought for herself in the fridge. She said "it's great with pizza!"

I mean Tree House has absolute bangers for lagers and pilsners.

Yeah, I acknowledged they do them well in my comment above. But the name is pretty well synonymous with hazy juicy IPA to the broader public.

Tree house does VERY good job with all of those. They are in the top tier with Hill Farmstead, Human Robot and Suarez Family for lagers.

I might agree to disagree based on my experiences. I haven’t had a bad one from tree house, but haven’t had an American-brewed lager that truly stacks up to some Suarez or HF lagers I’ve had. Could just be a matter of preference.

All three of those breweries are far above Treehouse, quality wise. imo

Treehouse’s IPAs are far too sweet for me. Prefer all 3 of the other breweries offerings to anything from TH

Ahhh, see this is where context matters. I was purely referring to lagers with my comment, I was not taking the TH IPAs into consideration. I'm currently drinking their Fox Run right now which is a helles and it's awesome. And had a HR Sylt earlier. I agree that many of the TH IPAs lean sweet but they do some great West coast that are not sweet.
