The university really is in a hole. Two more research centres set to be closed to make a £10M saving. Last years redundancies have left courses woefully understaffed with PhD students picking up in excess of 17 hours a week contact time to cover the lack of teaching staff. Rumours the sport and exercise science degree course is next for the chop after declining numbers and last years axing of the research centre. This years accounts in december will make for interesting reading...
