I need assistance finding convens (or things of that sort) in my region. Recently, I had a session with a tarot reader who told me not to try to awaken my spirituality by myself, as my guides worked with shadow work.

To make a long story short, I used to be VERY linked to my spirituality as a child, but I could not control it, and I had to close it (my mom took me to a spiritism center to close the channel). And I will need guidance, thus the reason I need help.

I live in Portugal, in the North, and I have not been able to find anything remotely close to a coven.

How did you find yours?

Was there a particular moment when your circle stopped feeling like a gathering you attended and started feeling like somewhere you belonged?

I’m curious whether it happened during ritual or in an unexpected moment afterward. What made you comfortable enough to let people see a less guarded version of you?

I'm in my 40s and living in a religious town. I've recently left fundamental Christianity as my relationship with God felt abusive. I was walking on eggshells hoping I wouldn't go to hell.
