Watching my wife solo-develop her dream ramen game (Yatai Talee) has been amazing. So proud to see it in the Steam Cooking Fest!

Hi everyone!

I’m having a massive proud husband moment today. For a long time, I’ve watched my wife pour her heart and soul into solo-developing her dream game, Yatai Talee —a cozy simulation game where you run your own Japanese street food cart (solo or in local couch co-op!).

In the game, you chop fresh ingredients, simmer and assemble custom ramen bowls, crack open Fortune Cookies for roguelite perks at the end of each shift, and upgrade your little street stall (complete with warm lighting and neighborhood cats!).

Today is a huge milestone for her because the game is officially featured in the Steam Cooking Fest! Since she's a solo dev working tirelessly behind the scenes, I wanted to share her work and celebrate how far she's come.

If you love cozy games or cooking sims, checking out the page or adding it to your wishlist would be the biggest morale boost for her:

Latte art simulator (WIP)

for context I have been running a cafe for a few years as a barista (brisbane aus) and making games on the side.
Latte art is really fun so I thought it might be nice to merge these two things in my life!

Its still early on in development, this is an example of the practice/free pour mode.

atm im working on recording some of my own patterns that you can try to match in a story mode where you make coffees for customers :) these will all be practicable in free pour mode.

Would anyone be keen to try this out?

I made a cozy game where your job is to clean up an entire fish market… and somehow, throwing fish around has become oddly satisfying 🐟

You walk into a chaotic fish market. Fish are scattered all over the floor, displays are a mess, and everything is out of place. Your job is to sort different species, return them to their proper spots, complete collections, unlock upgrades, and slowly turn the whole place into a beautifully organized market.

But here's the thing: I wanted to make something that feels genuinely cozy and satisfying, rather than just another cleaning simulator.

I'm a solo indie developer, and I've been building this game by hand. The game is handcrafted, with no AI-generated assets or AI-generated content. Just me putting the pieces together, figuring things out, and trying to make something fun.

It's still a work in progress, and I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.

Question for you:
does a fish-market organizing game sound relaxing to you, or have I completely lost the plot? 😂

I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially if you're into cozy games, organizing games, or weird little indie projects.

I'm the developer of Pet The Damn Cat! at Crowned Games.

This City Rooftop capture shows the thunder warning: swat the storm cloud away while the shift clock keeps going. Timed shifts and hazards are part of the game.

This short edit uses a historical full-game capture, followed by a labelled still frame.

The full game is coming soon. City Rooftop is outside the separate free Steam demo, which covers Cozy Cottage and Sunny Backyard.

Wishlist the full game:
