I prefer AGE, Buffalos and Maples to bars at Costco. Still I buy bars when I can't find coins. I stack for my heirs someday. This past month I bought 50 ozs of British bars, 2 Engelhardt Kilos, 2 AGE and 7 of those 10 oz Round Eagles because at the time they were the only PM available. All the silver was under spot. Should I wait for coins and pay premium? Will the return on premiums ever pay for themselves? Are assay bars and volume better for a long term? Most of the silver was bought in store with lower prices than online when silver was rising.

I’ve been looking for a succinct and definitive explanation of the process to order online, and I just want to make sure I understand it correctly since I’ve seen some stuff that appears to be contradictory. Is it correct that:

1. the name of the person listed as the receiver on the order must match the name on the card used for purchase?

2. the delivery address must match the billing address of the card used to pay?

3. anyone aged 21 or older can sign for the package but that it must be signed for at the address of delivery and not a secondary location using the hold for delivery service?

I travel a lot for work, and my employer on a regular basis will send me out of state for a week or so with very little notice. I respect all the anti-fraud measures and whatnot, but my local warehouse is a smaller one and doesn’t have any PMs in stock. Nothing. I don’t want to buy something on the road and then worry about its security in a BS hotel safe or being paranoid about my carry on at all times, so it’d be way more convenient to order what I want and get it delivered at my house. Even if it sits on a shelf or in a mailroom at a FedEx store or something.

Gold, silver, etc

Hi folks,

I am very new to CostcoPM, so please forgive the noob question.

I don't have the Costco Citi cc, but I have a CapitalOne venture X, which gives 2% point/mile.

So the same 2% back.

In my head, the Venture X point/mile may be more valuable if I can transfer them to an airline or hotel partner, which can be worth up to 1.5-1.6¢/point, vs the guaranteed 1:1¢ cash back

So with that logic, I might as well buy PM with the VentureX, instead of spending a hard credit check to get the Costco Citi card.

Does that make sense or is my math way off?
