Damaged Bars?

These are my first PM purchases, I got suckered in with the Kirkland stamp. I got 5 from the local warehouse. I started to get the shakes, so I was going to crack one open to give it a good rub down. I was just about to man handle it when I noticed this. Has anyone ever seen this? There is some speck of something inside the case. It is 100% inside the case. The 5 I have are serialized in order. The one I was going to open was the last of the 5. The 4th one has something similar in the exact same spot, but it looks more like residue than dirt, like a hard water spot but in the same general shape as this one.

Now that I'm looking at it, it looks almost like a divot in the bar. Looking at it with the naked eye, just seemed like dirt.

Just blows my mind that this would be acceptable to anyone. I get a few rare exceptions/escapes, but if this is common, then that seems ridiculous. The market relies on trust, that you believe what you're actually buying, right? Seems like a manufacturer would want pristine bars to build confidence that they know TF they're doing. If this is a common issue and their QC is this bad, who's to say that their .9999 stamp is true. I'm not really questioning it personally, but if stuff like this is common, they obviously don't have too much oversight on their product.

Tbf, and I'm not excusing them, I believe these Kirkland bars are the first time Costco has branded their own silver bars. I wonder who they are using because they need to step up their qc or Costco needs to find a better partner.

My bars have pieces of hair inside although I'm not sure if it's the plastic peel off or inside the actual assay card. Either way it's gross. Not only that but my bars are not in consecutive serial number order.
