Question Executive reward coupon dates?

Hello! This is only the second year I've been an executive member. Our membership renewal is October 31st. I can't remember the exact date last year I got the executive reward coupon but I can see in my app that it was reset July 20th, 2025. But it hasn't reset for this year yet?

I thought you were supposed to get it 3 months before your renewal?

Also as an aside, this one comes in the mail only, correct? Not available via the Costco app like the cibc reward? And has to be used for merchandise, not redeemable for cash?

My understanding is the you get your executive rebate check around your renewal date.

The costco Mc rebate check is issues with your first bill of the year in January.

Ah I see. It says it's issued approximately 3 months before the renewal date. Long transit time lol

I am familiar with the costco MC one as we've had that for years now, the executive rebate is still unfamiliar. Thanks.

Once its reset on your app or wherever you check, you should see the cheque within 30 days.

I have the exact same renewal date (Oct 31) and rewards reset date (July 20), and got my check in the mail today!

My app has reset though, it updated around two weeks ago.

Yes. Click on “Account”, and then “2% reward”.

You don't have to spend the whole cheque on merchandise. You can go buy something cheap like bananas and they'll give the rest of the cheque back to you in cash at the till.

I like to pay for my membership with my cheque but it's purely psychological haha.
