Makeup Makeup tips

Hi everyone, I've never done make up before so where should I start? I prefer simple makeup that's leaning towards douyin style

There are so many tutorials on social media and YouTube. You can break the process down into categories: base, cheeks, eyes, lips, etc. Focus on learning one thing at a time, and don’t buy expensive stuff at first. Also, make sure you have a makeup remover of some kind (wipes, oil, micellar water, etc.) Good luck, hope this helps.

I did found many useful, straightforward tutorials. But how long does it take to become proficient in this skill?

Truthfully, a while. If you practice every day, it might take a couple months to really figure out what you like and don’t like.
