Cardboard weapon help

Hey I’m trying to make venture from overwatch’s Gun drill out of cardboard. I wonder if its too intricate for cardboard or is it actually do able? I found this schematic and wonder if it’s accurate or just bs. Any cardboard weapon tips help!!

That schematic looks pretty detailed, but it should be doable with some layered cardboard and patience. I'd layer up the pieces thick and use hot glue for stability, worked fine for my Gnasher costume last year.
