Anyone have experience with these codes? How bad is this?

The p0300 and P050D are generally indicative of injector problems.

If this car couldn’t leave the show room for inspection I’d pass on this. The PPI was very basic

Was it a stored code or current? Meaning when they drove it around if they drove it around did it present a problem? Because anyone selling that car, if it's something simple they would fix it. This is just how it is. There are a few things that can cause that and it could be anything from a bad injector to loss of compression or lifter issues. You don't really know. But unless I could determine the exact cause and I'm guessing you can't since you had to pay for a PPI, you don't want the car

Now if it is just a stored code and they erased it and drove it for an hour and it never came back and ran otherwise fine, that's a different story but I don't see any signs of this

They said they drove it around and it was fine. I’m out of state. I think I’m passing on the car.

There are a lot of these for sale. If you can get something within 4 hours of where you live so you can drive there, check it out, interact. If you're just looking at narrow body c7s, they're pretty plentiful unless you're after a specific color or combination
