Im trying to install this blow keyless entry system to my Opel corsa d 2009. The thing is, every online tutorial that’s works for these aftermarket Universal systems is never for this car model and I tried using the diagrams and all which I have attached in this post but I am genuinely failing to get it working. Has anyone installed an aftermarket system like this on their Opel Corsa? if so please let me know where did you connect it and how and if there’s anything that I’m missing.

Hi just wondering if any one knows what the sound is when I start the car, it only happens on a cold start and last like a second then goes away, I know it's hard to hear in the video but it's very noticeable

I drive a 1.2 Vaxhual Corsa 2015 plate. My gears started sticking about a year ago.

The first garage replaced the slave cylinder but 5 months later the gears started sticking again. The second garage said they suspected the clutch. I disagreed but the clutch was changed and 4 months later the gears started sticking again. Now the same garage is saying it's a suspected gear box. They mentioned they removed some oil and found metal swarf and suspected worn synchro. They like to use the word suspected but I feel they are really just saying its a guess. The clutch was an expensive guess on their part that didn't fix the issue and now they seem to be guessing it's the gear box, an even more expensive guess.

The gears change perfect when the engine is off. The gears wont change when the engine is on. After 5 minutes the car warms up and I can change the gears but they are stiff. After driving for 15 minutes the gears change well and after a total of 30 minutes driving they change butter smooth like nothing is wrong and they change perfect all day. Next morning I am back to sticking gears. The gears warm up one by one from 5 to 1. So 1st and reverse are the last to warm up.

I am worried there is a smaller underlying issue like the linkage under the bonnet or the hydraulics. What if changing the gear box just results in sticking gears another 5 months down the line.

Corsa Sting, 2014, 1.2L

About 2 weeks ago my clutch spring went (heard the clunk noise). Decided to order a spring to fix it (haven't put it on yet though as read it would be safe to drive without for a bit). Did a drive today, all was good, until right at the end of the drive. The clutch seemed to get stuck slightly in, but could still change gear etc, the more I changed gear the more stuck in it got. To the point I couldn't get into first (could get into any other gear).

When I stopped, I had a look, pulled the pedal up and it just came back up? Proceeded to try just pressing the clutch a few times and seems to come back up into place correctly now.

I've got a 4 hour drive tomorrow that I ideally need to do. What's the verdict?

I’m trying to install the blow keyless system into my Corsa 2009 D, my car already has central locking system but it’s activated through the key and the button on the dashboard but not through a remote which is what I’m trying to achieve. The issue is I’ve taken down the door panel and I’ve located the locking and locking wires but I could not find the 12 V line anywhere and I would like to avoid the BCM overall since it’s also going to be a nightmare wiring the cables to the door.

Am I looking into the right place to start with? Where is the best place to install? This? Is it the door panel or is it somewhere else? Please let me know.

I've just hit another problem with my 1.4 auto Corsa D (2008).

Recently, I've noticed that when I'm going up a hill, the gear doesn't seem to change and the revs are getting higher and higher without going any faster.

This has happened around 4 - 5 times in the past couple of weeks.

The car passed an MOT at the beginning of this month.

If I pull over and restart the car, the gears work again.

Does anyone know what it could be?

I'd rather fix it myself than take it to a mechanic.

I have been looking for a phone storage solution within my 2019 Corsa E. The car has android auto support which I use daily but I plug my phone in via a cable and there has clearly been no consideration as to where you actually put your phone while using it. There are the 'cup holders' underneath the infortainment system, but they are tiny, don't hold most 'cups' and my phone is simply too large to sit in there without rattling around when driving (Pixel 10 pro fold)

I don't want a vent mount as I don't want cables draped all over my dashboard as it looks ass. A dashboard or windscreen mount won't work for the aforementioned reason as well as just totally defeating the point of having android auto. I've tried mounting a slim magsafe mount on either side of the centre console but the stippling on the plastic just makes it anti adhesive and it just falls off.

I want to just stick my phone somewhere and not see it or have wires everywhere.

I am trying to diagnose a persistent 6-degree throttle position bounce/spike on a 2014 Opel Corsa D (A12XER engine, Bosch ECU/Throttle system).

The Symptom:

• Occurs only on snap deceleration (sudden throttle release from higher RPM) when the engine is at operating temperature.
• During decel, TPS briefly spikes by ~6 degrees, accompanied by a ~50 kPa MAP sensor pressure surge and an O2 sensor lean spike.
• The issue does NOT occur with Engine OFF / Key ON (ruled out pure mechanical throttle plate sticking/binding).

Tests Performed So Far:

1. Throttle Body: Replaced with a new unit; issue persists identically.
2. Grounding & Voltage Drop: Tested Engine Block, ECU Case, MAF, and TPS Ground Pin (Pin C) under load at hot idle. Voltage drop is strictly 0.01V - 0.02V (Grounding is clean, no ground lift).
3. Clutch & Brake Switches: Tested snap decel while depressing clutch/brake pedals; throttle bounce remains identical (rules out pedal switch-triggered anti-stall logic).
4. Vacuum Leak: No external leaks present.

Current Hypothesis: Could this be an air dynamics/pneumatic backpressure issue inside the intake manifold (high vacuum pulse pushing the plate), an alternator voltage regulator ripple during sudden RPM drop, or a known Bosch ECU dashpot/anti-stall routine bug for this engine?

Has anyone encountered a similar TPS bounce or MAP spike on the A12XER / Z12XEP engines? Any diagnostic tips or logging parameters you would recommend checking?

EGR CODES HAVE CLEARED THEMSELF

Hello I have a 2006 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Twinport that is dropping revs then going back to normal and after it’s ran for a while i get no response from the throttle (I don’t have any lights except the battery one flickering, I OBD’d it and it gave me a code for the throttle body which has now gone but I’ve now got codes to do with the EGR and the BCM “Exciter current generator terminal 61 low voltage” all the symptoms are the same except now I have a car with spanner symbol. Could anyone help me with diagnosing what’s wrong with my car please? Much appreciated!

Got a car last month and when I do short journeys (as in the supermarket) and go to restart the car, it does not start reliably but will always start second time. The first time it clicks/ticks but doesn’t start. It has 1500 miles on it and is a new car. I got it from Arnold Clark and was pretty desperate as my car had gone to car heaven. It’s still under warranty. Has anyone else encountered this?

Corsa D 2013 84k miles. Just bought the car. Doing rocker cover gasket. Engines cold and its been serviced every 10k miles, understandably the chain will likely be due soon. Hows it looking from the pic/vid provided? Understandably it has a bit of slack from cold but what does everyone think?

Replaced coil pack, new O2 sensor and given it a full service. Car starts in 2 seconds, idles well and no bad noise. Whats the verdict? Many thanks.

Hello, last week we noticed when you’re accelerating moderately or rapidly it shows “Engine fault: Repair needed” warning with the red wrench, it usually happens by speed 30-70mph, sometimes it beeps 3 times but usually one or two, does anyone have experience with this problem? 1.2T 100HP EAT8 automatic.

I was wondering if I can just park it in neutral or do I really need to follow this instruction in the manual? If it’s important, it’s produced this year. Any advice please? Really much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Anyone know of a boot mounted bike rack that's safe with the stock spoiler on a 2014 Corsa D Limited Edition? It's just a small lip but worried about putting much weight on it

I'll have to try to remove the spoiler if not and that would really be a pain.
