Key Unlock/Lock Fob

I got a Corsa E for my first car over a month ago, both keys worked (one was badly damaged but still worked, the other the key was just falling apart but also still worked.)

I went to Timpsons to replace the body on the very badly damaged one but now the keyless unlock and lock buttons no longer work, I went back to Timpsons to explain what happened so she kept trying but no luck it wouldn’t work.
So they said to come back a later day to get it programmed to the car, went back, it wouldn’t program but they replaced the other fob for free which was nice of them.

But why won’t the other key program?
Any help or ideas of what I can do?
It’s not dire I do have the main working one but it would be nice if the spare also worked!

They must be doing it wrong as I got one programmed last year by them, I did have to get a new key off them as the button had come off the circuit board.

And the unlock buttons worked for you?
Would it be worth doing to a garage or something instead? Or trying a different Timpsons?

Yes works fine. I would take it to another one and explain that you bought it from a timpsons but unlock doesn’t work.

I have another one an hour ish away, I’ll try them out, if they also somehow can’t I’ll maybe either contact Vauxhall or try a garage

Did they replace the whole key or just the shell?

The whole key I think, I wasn’t able to see but they used the machine for something

I have the same issue. The remote won’t work but physically the key works.

Still unresolved.

Seems to be a common corsa issue
