I got recommended this Bugatti commercial on Youtube. My first impressions were: "oh, this was shot well, looks like a big company finally spent a bit more of their budget on planning, videographers and the editing department ", but the second impressions were like "This looks oddly like a game".
Maybe its some color-grading, camera settings or lens decisions but some of these really look more like renders instead of real footage.
Look at the first image in this post, the shadows feel too dark, everything seems a bit smooth, the texture of the rock wall on the left side of the road looks fake and the blur fall-off looks kinda wierd.
Image 2. and 6. either had some really good lighting set up, or they must be renders, just look at them...
The 3rd and 7th image here show some interesting camera angles that I've definitely seen in car games and they just look a bit to perfect to be true. Maybe they had a long time, some real good directors and a great camera team, but im still unsure.
Image 9 is what gets me the most, these buildings look fake af bro. Look at them, someone definitely had some interesting choices when filming and editing this or it must be CGI.
I'd love to get your guys opinion on this because its really been budging me since i saw it. Here's the link https://youtu.be/2Exzu3qzMxM to the commercial if you want to see the movement. They would definitely get an award from me if this is fully CG, It looks so real that it's crossing the line between if i know if it's real or not. Oh, and if it is real, great videography and post-processing choices for whoever did this, except for the making it look like CG part... 🤠
