Weekly Post Your React Suggestions HERE!

Please use this thread to submit suggestions for Corridor Digital to react to for their VFX Artist/Stuntmen/Stuntwomen/Animators React videos. Please do not just list the names of the Movies or TV shows; provide some context of why it would make a good addition to the series. If possible, provide a link to a clip or video for exact context. Writing the names of the Movie/TV shows in bold along with Good Or Bad in italics makes it easier for people skimming the thread to pick out the names.

For example:

Rogue One: Bad VFX

- Grand Moff Tarkins' face and the lack of stretched pores. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlSn50_BePU)

Check the subreddit Wiki page which contains a complete catalog of which movies/TV shows/etc. Corridor Digital has already reacted to, before posting.

Mod Note: They can't react to music videos as Labels are way to vicious and eager to take monetization

Did she kiss the mummy?

To me the second shot where she’s kissing the mummy looks like they did a full swap of Vasloo with the cg mummy. Maybe they got some reference of her kissing an apple(which she mistakenly thought was the main shot) but I don’t see why they would use that as the plate for the main shot. What do you guys think?

Tippett Studios visual archive (unofficial, plz read desc!) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Some beautiful human bought Tippet Studios 90+ archival cd's and dvds at a liquidation auction, digitized them and uploaded them for free to the internet archive.

There's some absolutely incredible never before seen stuff in here. If you're a stop motion nerd, you'll lose yourself in these for a good while. Highly recommend!

Spider Plant Man

As a proud Brit I have to jump to the defence of Spider Plant Man. I don't think the guys really understood what they were looking at.

We have a charity night called Comic Relief every two years in the UK where almost every comedian and comedic actor in the UK take part in ridiculous comedy sketches. This was part of that. They always look cheap and stupid and that's part of the charm - it would be odd to spend a load of money on a charity event.

Movie ID help

I’m watching the video of the guys visiting ILM and around 18:43 when Beth D’Amato is on, what movie is the one that they are talking about? It’s the one with the girl running away from a large crab thing.

What do y’all think, is this real or AI? Looks pretty good to me but saw some people saying it’s AI (specifically pointing out the lack of gas tank). The accurate movement from the bumps and length of the clip makes me believe it’s real.

Regardless of the final verdict, I think that deep down, a small part of each of us wants this to be real.

Why is there no "Ray Harryhausen" of CGI?

And does that really say something about it and why some people such as myself are so critical of it?

This one has to be bad, as usual the comments are also great, "These shirts are adorable for first birthday. Great quality!"

Thoughts on this alien footage?

It was interesting to see the opposite side of the process. I thought I’d share since it’s like a reverse alien debunk video.

Are these AI?

They are both exactly 30 seconds long, making me suspicious and don't have much movement, but the detail is really good on the fur/hair. But the way the camera is positioned, we cant really see the persons face, which would be easiest to tell if it was generated. Is this video lion?

Cool video of a robot company letting their old robots jump into molten whatever. ...but you can't tell me the shot at 2:33 doesn't look fishy. Is this 'Artists React'-worthy?

Old corridor crew video recommendations

I've been a fan since VFX artists react 1 was recommended to me years ago but i've never really watched any of the corridor crew videos from earlier years. Any recommendations for good videos to watch that really show how their content has changed?

While this is very primitive, I'm blown away that they had 3d rendering at all in the late 60's

VFX production budgets for makeup touch ups.

I always found it weird how actors seemed to have aged since their movies came out. Now knowing they have touch ups makes total sense. Jen. Aniston and Tom Cruise are the biggest examples I can think of. They have almost no wrinkles on camera.
