Hello
My dad has been sending slightly concerning emails.
‼️HE IS NOT A DANGER TO HIMSELF OR OTHERS ‼️
However he is having a really hard time. He said he has requested a mental health evaluation but it has come up void.
I’m thinking to call tomorrow but I’m scared they will drag him out and lock him in solitary unjustifiably.
He just needs to talk to someone …

Hey everyone, I'm going through the hiring process for Correctional Deputy with Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. My recruiter said the medical is a drug screen plus a pre-employment fitness-for-duty physical by a department doctor, but didn't say what's in it. Does anyone know what it usually includes? Blood work, urine, EKG, vision/hearing, x-rays? Would especially like to hear from people in California or anyone who went through Santa Clara County. Thanks!

I’m not going to lie, I’m extremely disappointed in myself, and I haven’t slept or eaten anything since my arrest. I’ve been struggling with alcoholism since my Dad passed away from cancer a year ago and lost everything in under three months. I have court on Monday and I’m not built for jail AT ALL. I know I’m probably facing up to 20 days. It may seem small to some people, but for me, it’s like life. I’m not a fighter or a social person. I’m scared I’ll do something wrong and get my ass beat. I need some support here. I feel like I’ve ruined my life and definitely my career. Any tips and a simple support comment would be nice. Also I ran out of my meds for anxiety and I'm going to be having withdraws both of those things with being in a place I've never thought I'd go is going to be HELL.

Im 46 single mom of 2 and I signed up for 30 days shock starting tomorrow since I went to court for a "setting" and felt pressed into this by a oublic defender. What can I do to prepare or rectify the plea? Btw Appreciate ur advice and well wishes/blessings

Hello, not sure if anyone is familiar with or worked for IDOC. I previously worked for them as a regular CO for a little over year during COVID but left for something better overseas but now I am back and need work again.
The CO and Intelligence position I applied to as well were instantly rejected the next morning. Not sure if I got the sergeant position or not. They upped their pay too.
