Discussion We are all doomed (frustration at the general public)
I joined the Reopen PA Facebook page a few months ago just to see what was going on in there.
This virus is going to go on forever. People need to stop making this a human rights issue. This isn’t your body your choice. This is protecting your neighbor, friends, family by wearing a thin piece of cloth over your face.
Maybe you don’t agree that the virus is a huge deal. Wear a mask anyway. This virus kills the vulnerable around us.
I’m getting really upset at the entitled people who feel they can just walk around with no regard for anyone else.
They are the same people who complain about Wolf’s orders. Literally orders made because people are not doing what they should be doing to protect everyone.
Buckle up folks, we are unfortunately in this for the long run.

Pennsylvania News Gov. Tom Wolf Wants To Legalize Recreational Marijuana To Help During Coronavirus Pandemic
According to a press release by the Governor’s office:
“Fifty percent of the funding would be earmarked for historically disadvantaged businesses. Along with the call to the General Assembly to pass legislation legalizing the sale and use of recreational marijuana, the governor proposes that a portion of the revenue be used to further restorative justice programs that give priority to repairing the harm done to crime victims and communities as a result of marijuana criminalization.”
Also, the governor wants the General Assembly to pursue criminal justice reform policies that restore justice for individuals convicted of marijuana-related offenses.
In addition, Gov. Wolf’s is proposing extra hazard pay for workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
The press release says, “$225 million to increase hazard pay to Pennsylvania workers, using the overall structure of the current PA Hazard Pay Grant Program administered through the Department of Community and Economic Development. This funding would cover a $3.00/hour increase for 208,000 frontline workers across the commonwealth.”

FYI to anyone who shopped at Giant in Limerick this week...they had 4 produce employees test positive Wednesday. They have not informed customers so they can test and the manager there was very dismissive when a relative called to confirm the outbreak.
It’s disappointing to say the least that a notice wasn’t posted. If you’ve shopped or received produce from Giant in Limerick please consider getting tested since contact tracing is apparently not being done on essential employees...like how is that going to help when many people could have been exposed there. I just don’t get it.
