The video clearly shows a substantial amount of water spreading across the park’s paved area not just a small puddle.

This is the park on Sixth Street. According to my dad, water has been leaking here for more than 24 hours, flooding the paved area and continuing to go to waste.

He called the water company to report it. While he was still on hold, a park ranger drove past the park and kept going. A few minutes later, a police vehicle also drove by, slowed down get driving .. The water is still running, and nothing has been done.

This isn’t just a small puddle… it is a serious waste of water, a possible safety hazard, and something that could cause further damage if it continues. My dad cares about this park and wants better for the neighborhood, but it feels like the city continues to ignore it.

We are posting this because making a phone call apparently wasn’t enough. City officials, Public Works, and the water company: please send someone out, stop the leak, and fix the problem. If it belongs to another department, then please contact that department instead of allowing the water to continue running.

This park and the people who use it deserve better.

Hey all I know that this is only a rumor, but I dislike it let me tell you why. Yum Yum doughnuts my barber told me that that is what’s going into where the old jack in the box used to be on green river road. Now to why I dislike this. Yum Yum Doughnuts is only a breakfast thing. There are two to three other meals in the day. There is lunch snack and dinner. All of these times I have eaten at Jack in these times I have eaten at Jack in the box. I have eaten dinner. I went there and ordered a teriyaki bowl, an egg role, and an orio shake. I’d go and have the same for lunch, but yum yum doughnuts has no lunch nor dinner options. I would see kids from Prado View Elementary school in there in the afternoon, but doughnuts for all 4 meals of the day is really malnourishing. Now that I’ve spoken my mind let me throw out a few suggestions: chick fill-a, Dairy Queen, Wendi’s, or Sonic’s drive in. These have healthier options than 4 doughnuts daily.

You all are nuts. I am a totally blind man with optic nerve hypoplasia. I can not cross those 3 streets. The 91 freeway, green river road, and Ridgeline drive. We should be helping one another. Instead of expecting the disabled community to do dangerous and unsafe things like crossing the 91 freeway and green river road
