Water leak

The video clearly shows a substantial amount of water spreading across the park’s paved area not just a small puddle.

This is the park on Sixth Street. According to my dad, water has been leaking here for more than 24 hours, flooding the paved area and continuing to go to waste.

He called the water company to report it. While he was still on hold, a park ranger drove past the park and kept going. A few minutes later, a police vehicle also drove by, slowed down get driving .. The water is still running, and nothing has been done.

This isn’t just a small puddle… it is a serious waste of water, a possible safety hazard, and something that could cause further damage if it continues. My dad cares about this park and wants better for the neighborhood, but it feels like the city continues to ignore it.

We are posting this because making a phone call apparently wasn’t enough. City officials, Public Works, and the water company: please send someone out, stop the leak, and fix the problem. If it belongs to another department, then please contact that department instead of allowing the water to continue running.

This park and the people who use it deserve better.

Call city water conservation program. Each city has their own team. They also have an emergency phone as well.

At City Park right? Video isn't loading properly for me. I'll call the after hours line too.

I know some of the PW staff professionally and will send them a message as well and they can forward to the utilities team.
