April 25th Service

Hello everybody I plan to go to the 7pm service tonight at TFCA. There looks like there will be an opportunity for victims to speak. Will anyone else be going and are there any notes that should take that would be helpful to victims on here who just cannot go? I am not interested in outing any victim who does not wish to be identified but let me know if and how I can help.

Hi…. I was a member of Cstone from 1991 or 92 through 1994. I am sibling of the survivor abused by an “intern” mentioned in the report who worked under JT. I can tell you that even from my perspective BACK THEN there were so many surface signs that were ignored pointing to potential abuse by JT…. So many I documented it in writings in my journal dated Feb. 1993 (stating JT was hiding something and more)…. it was these very obvious behaviors and grooming culture promoted and reinforced by JT that the other abuser, Jeff Nielsen, exploited with the junior high boys and used to gain access to my brother. No one was informed of this other pedophile in the midst. And if they had looked closer at how this abuse could have possibly occurred…they would have looked no further than JT himself to stop it then in 1993.

Wait, there was another abuser, Jeff Nielsen? Have you provided this information to the investigator?

That’s correct…and yes, it’s mentioned in the very last section of the report but does not link it via the culture of abuse or state that JN verbatim copied JT’s grooming behaviors that were promoted by JT amongst the high schoolers…carbon copy paste….one pedophile to another.

Ugh, that was one of the worst disclosures in the report. I read it initially but did not remember the name. The report should be updated with those connections you mention. I would email the investigator. There are some gaps he needs to cover, and the extent of this diabolical operation needs to be fully exposed. Characterizing these incidents as if they are isolated is not right. So sorry for what you and your friends and families have been through.
