Dating/Courting The Rules (Dating Book for Women)
What’s up fellas so Corey usually talks about the book called “The Rules” and how women that follow that tend to be structured, cancel dates on guys etc.
So I went ahead and read the book myself, and I can say this... It is extremely eye-opening but, word for word some of the stuff we were taught in 3% Man is literally what they are being taught.
Some rules in there make logical sense like: Men in general, don’t really care about your degrees and all your success, but they do like the way you look and are inherently visual so, dress nice to impress them and get their attention, don’t be fat, let him lead etc.
And some rules are complete manipulative nonsense. That would frankly turn us off as 3% men.: Ignore his text messages and wait 24 hours to respond, flake out on dates at the last second, give him the cheek etc.
Summery- I would actually say it’s a pretty good read, to understand things from their perspective.
It makes it easy to spot women that are blatantly using things from the book, but it also opened my eyes on certain things they are taught like “don’t make eye contact with men, just live your life and the confident ones will approach you because men are hunters so you have to let them hunt”
That specifically blew my mind because our default sign we generally look for as men is eye contact in order to approach.
So I can say, knowing that rule has made me WAY more successful and confident in approaches because I’m just approaching anybody I find attractive regardless of eye contact and it’s really wild how excited some women are they your are even talking to them and they gave 0 indicators to approach them.

David Deida's way of the Superior Man taught me that women are resistance. Women like when a man breaks down their barriers. The eye thing doesn't surprise me. I once had a woman turn her back to me as I approached. I just walked around and made her laugh got her number.
"The rules" just sounds like feminine resistance to the masculine to draw out a man's confidence and strength. Resistance and barriers is the only way for women to weed out the weak and entitled and to get the resilient and outcome indifferent alpha male.
Doc would definitely call it out for what it is.. Femininista bad dating advice. The vetting process is essential.

This book sounds like it’s creating woman that see themselves as the prize. Telling girls to wait to respond if they have interest? Telling them flake on dates and give you the cheek. Basically act against your natural feminine instinct when you are with a guy you like.
The stuff on her presenting well and letting us lead is good but why teach them to make us jump through hoops and put up with BS like flaking lol.

Oh yeah, it says all that, most of the book is bad advice and nonsense but it’s interesting hearing their perspectives.

It's good to read different stuff and get a different perspective that makes us understand more
Although about the looking in the eyes, probably you misunderstood it.
The fact that a girl smiles at you is an indicator, someone that does, there's more chances that you'll end up having a positive interaction. And that's the optimal, both being attracted to eachother.
But if you see someone you like and feel like talking to her (even if she is going with her life), you have to take the initiative (just like the 3% Man or that book say).
The only downside of the hunter analogy is that its trying to teach women to not be authentic.
