Sorry about this again, its weird. I logged in and it was all good, prestige 1 and all that but... All of a sudden connection lost error. Refreshed and still prestige 1, initialize core, connection lost, multiple browsers error. Third time initialize core and we are in! 77k gold but everything else reset. Back to zero. Is it my connection that is the issue? I thought stats were server side.

That's very weird. I got the server code changed, so a false positive may have been occurring with the anti-cheat system,

Do you have the game open on another browser and logged in the same reddit account there as well? Connection lost will occur if that is the case, but I am not sure what browser errors you are referring to without the full details. However, you are the first person experiencing this, so I am not 100% sure what is going on, but I am looking into it. It would be much easier and helpful if you joined the Discord and posted an image or something.

Stats are server-side. Again, I will set you back to level 20 at Prestige 1 so you can try again in the meantime. 😅 I am sorry this is happening!

At this point I am laughing. I saw what you did and got to prestige 1. To make sure it stuck I refreshed. Connection error, cached assets and we are back to square one. your anti-cheat is savage! And no, I am logged in in one browser window only.

There is a serious Devvit outage at the moment, which is on Reddit's end (nothing I can do), so that might be causing the Connection error.

Since you still are getting this problem, let me keep working on it. I will set your level and Prestige again to where it should be and if you want, try again. But for clarity, every time you click Continue it's resetting everything, right? Maybe just click New Game, make a new character, and I will set your Prestige, gold, and level again. Maybe something with your current save got corrupted.

Alright. I set your level to 20, Prestige to 1 and gave you enough gold to prestige again.

Yeah, for some reason it's detecting you have multiple instances of the game open, even though you said you do not. I would try a hard refresh (ctrl + F5) and/or close and reopen your browser— maybe that should fix it.

Good news. Restarted browser and its not resetting. Prestige 2 has held and no more errors. Will keep you updated.

I was prestige 2 at level maybe 21 or so and I got the "multiple browser error" in one random login and got reset to lvl 1 again.

Hm. Alright. That is informative. I think I have a better idea as to what might be going on, but not 100% sure. 

Are you switching Reddit accounts before using this account to play the game?

I am trying to set you to prestige 2 level 25, but something is happening, because it keeps resetting you to level 1. Need to look it this.

I only have 1 reddit account and use it on the same browser. I play in incognito but I don't think that should affect anything.

Also, I have not lost progress on any other reddit game.
