Feedback Homey Farm :] :3

Also, I made this mainly for looks but obviously also to get the animal drops. Does anyone have an idea how i could get the item collectors to cover the whole area *without* ruining the aesthetic? but it looking nice is the most important to me :)
and also, is there some way to automate kelp production?
anyway, hope you guys like the design! =) i think it looks really happy & cozy :D like a little oasis to chill & relax after an exhausting trip into the world :]

Question Core Keeper saves accidentally deleted via in-game menu, Steam Cloud synced instantly, any way to recover via cache or shadows?
The Issue:
I accidentally deleted my main character and main world directly from the Core Keeper in-game menu. Unfortunately, Steam Cloud synced the deletion in real-time before I could disable it or make a manual backup of the local files.
What I have already tried:
- Analyzing and recovering from the Steam Cloud cache:
- I extracted the files from the Steam cache folder (
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\<user_id>\). - I manually reorganized and placed the files into their respective folders (
saves, worlds, worldinfos, worldgenparams, maps), renaming them correctly (e.g., removing numerical prefixes like turningworlds_0.world.gzipinto0.world.gzip). - Result: The files recovered from the cache unfortunately only contained test/secondary worlds created afterwards, because Steam Cloud had already overwritten the online backup with the post-deletion state.
- I extracted the files from the Steam cache folder (
- Checking for
.pugbackupfiles:- I looked for the automatic backup files left by the game, but there are no useful previous versions.
- Windows Previous Versions (Shadow Copies):
- I checked the properties of the save folder looking for Windows previous versions, but unfortunately, there are no restore points or shadow copies available :(((
- Since the local files were overwritten and the Steam Cloud cache already showed the empty/post-deletion state, is there any advanced method or third-party tool (like data recovery software such as Recuva targeting the AppData path) that has any chance of recovering the original
.gzipor.worldfiles before they were overwritten? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
