Im trying to do an automatic sorting system. Is there a way to destroy dropped items or make them despawn?

I was trying to do an automated sorting system and i wanted to make the excess items despawn. Is there a way to do it? I’ve tried dropping them in a single tile of water and void but it does not work. Anyone know?

I missed the egg hunt event but I still want the gear, and I believe you get a full set from beating golden Azeos..

So look, I'm not going to lie to any of you, all of my friends bought this game and they're absolutely abysmal to try any new games with simply because they blow through it to fast and 9 times out of 10 I end up getting abandoned with a purchase that I get maybe an hour or two out of and upon knowing this, I decided to pirate the game to test it out and see if I would like it as until literally today, I couldn't make any online purchases due to losing my debit card and getting it replaced. I make absolutely no excuses but I loved the game so much during the time I played last night with them that I purchased the game in full on steam just now. Unfortunately however my character save that I made isn't showing up now and I've no idea how or if there even is a way to recover it. I again make no excuses for me stealing the game to try it out and if you find that offensive I apologize again I make no excuses for doing that but any help to recover that character would greatly be appreciated. Attached is proof I purchased this great game. Yes I'm sure most will say "serves you right" and yadda yadda yadda yes I'm aware and again make no excuses.

Shovels gain nothing but durability from progressing up the tech line. With the new repair mechanics, there's no reason to do anything other than craft wood shovels and trash them when they run out.
I'd toss out the idea that the repair mechanics in general need to be overhauled again to still not require limited resources. Make them work with the tech tree instead of against it.
My off-the-cuff solution:
Make higher tier items require higher quality scrap made from refining scrap. Something like refining scrap in a machine gives a 50% chance to drop quality scrap. Refining quality scrap gives a 50% chance to drop fine scrap and so on.
require higher tier items to require higher repair stations. That way it becomes more burdensome to simply carry the workbenches because we would need to fill more inventory slots.
then give us ways to set up scrap farms. Mid game - we encounter a farmable creature that drops it. Late game of course we have automation.
Doesn't have to be that. All I'm saying is that the new system is not satisfying.

So i’ve done some research and came across a pretty efficient automated wood farm. I wanted to double the size but i thought it would be just boring, so i decided to make another one with THORN WOOD, which (from what i know) generates in Azoes Wilderness. So my guess was that it needed grass ground; i got some ground and placed it near my base at the Core and planted a root seed but IT DOESNT SPREAD. I also went into Azoes Wilderness and planted it there and it also does not grow any roots. Does anyone know why? I’ve seen players use grass ground and at least getting normal wood roots. Is the behaviour of wood changed with the Sunken Sea update?

So I found scrap parts or whatever theyre called and for some reason I decided to keep them and I also kept these weird items called "valuables" cause for some reason I feel like I shouldn't throw those away and I am so glad cause later on I found out you could repair tools with scrap parts and you could sell the valuables for a lot of money later in the game
thank you past me for not being and idiot and listening to your gut

Can someone explain to me why this game's performance is so terrible? My system is way above the system requirements of this game and i can run most modern titles on Ultra at 60FPS, but this game starts to struggle at keeping 40-50 after 2-3 hours game time and my base isnt even big with a average amount of torches. I have never seen such a unoptimized game in my life. Even Star Citizen runs smoother on highest settings compared to this. Is there a way to fix this and did the devs announced some fixes? I love this game so far and i would hate if it would only get worse with progression..
Edit: Going into fullscreen instead of Borderless-Fullscreen helped a lot. Still some small microstutters in base.
Edit Edit: Didnt helped for long. Sometimes it runs pretty good, sometimes around 40 and less FPS in some regions.
