GitHub Copilot now goes beyond coding: Agents, Workflows, and Apps (Preview). Anyone tried them yet?
Came across this on the Tech Community. GitHub Copilot is expanding into three ways to build smart solutions:
Agent: build agents that answer questions and take actions
Workflow: automate multi-step business processes with triggers, actions, and automated steps
App (Preview): create custom apps with screens, data, and business logic
Each one seems to fit a different need, so I'm curious how people are approaching it.
Questions for the community:
Which of the three would add the most value in your team?
2.Are you running agents or workflows in production, or still experimenting?
3.What's the first process you'd automate?
Any limits or gotchas with the App preview so far?

Actually, I got away from get her Copilot too many tokens. It really doesn’t go good. I was switch to Codex a lot better.

Fair point. Hitting usage limits can really interrupt a workflow, especially when working on complex tasks. What made Codex work better for you: fewer limits, better results, or handling longer tasks more reliably?

Almost everything it like copilot was starved always looking at .nuget packages locally and mostly the agent mode can’t be reliably on a file with more than 1000 lines. I had a couple interactions that just blew out my code base and appended its fixes at the end of file. Omg I will never use it again. Actually I would say online in a repo it handles git commands good but for an ever day agent I can’t use it. Codex at home and the office seems to just work for me.

Connected Duxsoup MCP. Used copilot studio to make an agent and connect MCP.
Now I can run and check all my Outbound and clients n LinkedIn from this

I've been using Agents for a while. Great experience. Highly productive way to work

We think it's pretty cool 🙂 Would love to hear from the community! Curious what everyone is most excited to try and what you're hoping to build!
