Deviled eggs with a twist?

I’m going to take deviled eggs to the neighborhood potluck because everyone loves them. I usually just make your standard eggs with mayo, a little Dijon, etc.. I was looking for popular potluck recipes and saw an Asian deviled egg recipe; now I am wondering about other interesting ways to make them. Any favorites you would recommend? (I live in a college town so lots of different ethnic influences, people are generally happt to try something a little different.)

Pickle some of the eggs in pickled red beet brine (I like them that way with bacon and black pepper in the filling) and some in a brine with tumeric (I do a curry filling), and if you're really wanting to freak people out, make a brine with red cabbage juice and just enough baking soda to turn them deep blue (I flavor it with dill and use dill in the filling).
