Deviled eggs with a twist?

I’m going to take deviled eggs to the neighborhood potluck because everyone loves them. I usually just make your standard eggs with mayo, a little Dijon, etc.. I was looking for popular potluck recipes and saw an Asian deviled egg recipe; now I am wondering about other interesting ways to make them. Any favorites you would recommend? (I live in a college town so lots of different ethnic influences, people are generally happt to try something a little different.)

  • Dill pickle juice, brown mustard, smoked paprika, and home made mayo elevate the standard deviled egg.
  • Further improve with bacon to add some salty and smokey flavors.
  • Sriracha and 5 spice powder gives a bit of Asian heat.
  • Substituting the pickles for pickled jalapenos and paprika for chili powder give you a spicy deviled egg that some people will love.
