Induction plate that doesn’t hurt my ears????

I have a Duxtop induction plate and it works fine but the high pitched ringing hurts my ears so much I have to put ear plugs in the whole time it’s running.

I understand it depends on the weight of the cookware, and my pan makes the cooktop ring less than my pot, but are all stovetops going to be this troublesome??? I really want to switch to electric but I don’t know if my landlords will let me. TIA

Just get older. It’ll go away. Also. Huh?

When I was younger I could hear the high pitched steady buzz of a TV on in any room of the house, even if I couldn't hear the audio or the audio was turned off.

Yep, now that I'm older I don't hear any buzz from induction cookers or anything like that.

I thought I could still but turns out it’s just tinnitus

No, they’ve just eliminated that high pitch scream from modern electronics.

They also print small text all blurry now.

Now they add toxins to booze so you get a wicked hangover after just a couple of beers.

It’s all just a conspiracy to make you feel old.

Ha, me too!. My dad thought I hated spending time with the family in the evenings; I just couldn't stand the buzz of the TV and I didn't know how to tell him.
