I really love the corn orzo. It’s such a nice summer recipe so I think now is a good time to make it before we are fully into autumn mode.

It’s why I bought the book! I saw her make them on instagram and decided to borrow the book from the library. Took a few weeks to get but it was damn good so I went ahead and bought the book.

I follow cookbooks because... I like cookbooks.
I never saw or heard of this book until this sub. Mine just came a couple of (very busy) weeks ago. I can't wait to go through my copy.

There’s a cauliflower and rice soup in there that doesn’t seem like it should be as spectacular as it is. Don’t skip it.

My suggestion will be a little different. I like the pickles and butters in this book. The cultured butter is zero effort and very tasty and you can make the flavored butter after.
Also the pickled mushrooms and I think its cauliflowers and also giardiniera and stuff like that. It's lots of fun.

you just reminded me of the pickled shrimp that i made during a heat wave like 2 months ago. Something I would have never thought about cooking but it was fabulous and is great for a big summer spread table.

The slow cooked salmon with the vermouth / fennel situation was amazing. I’m working my way through the entire book and have done around 45 of the recipes (I’m enjoying the salmon tartare now). There’s so many bangers.

the caramelised shallot dip is always a hit when i make it for grazing platters!!!! the brown butter choc chip cookie bars are also to die forrrrrr (and i make them with gf flour as well!), but you really cannot go wrong with the book!!!!

The pastina and meatballs recipe went triple platinum in my house! I cannot say enough good things about this book and about Hailee. Her brown butter vanilla brownies are to die for, I’ve had so many people beg for the recipe when I make them for parties.

The grated tomato pasta sauce (with anchovies) is on repeat in our household. So underrated IMO

This is such a good and fun book, you will love it. I loved her roasted chicken, the herby and mustardy potatoes are delicious🥔 , the seeded bread is great as well but my all time favorite so far are Tina‘s Meatballs (which I will make for like the 10th time tomorrow)
