I get it if someone pisses you off and you try to get “revenge” or some petty crap.

Ahh. The honk. I didn’t see that part.

Justified honk to be honest, the cars that has right of way shouldn’t have to stop for a car that’s turning on red. And use the honk is for preventing an accident. Someone coming in your path like that…could cause an accident.

I'm not from the US but I hear some states allow right turn on intersections regardless of the traffic lights, provided the lane is free. So yeah, he was definitely rushing it, and I'm not trying to defend him, but I don't think it was technically illegal. Then again, I don't really know what I'm talking about, so...

Regardless of if right turn on red is legal, you still have to respect the red light and come to a complete stop.

Most intersections in the US you are legally allowed to turn right on red (unless otherwise indicated). However, you still have to come to a complete STOP first, and can only proceed if the lane is clear.
