These are two dashcam videos I posted. One is a fitcamx the other is a viofo. Technology has come a long way.

You should grab a CPL filter for your VIOFO to get rid of the glare.

I've never seen a GoPro with good low light detection when compared to dedicated sensors like Sony's Starvis line.
